McDonald's — Restaurant in Portage

On 12/23/17 My daughter and I visited the dining room for a quick bite while out running errands. There were 3 tables occupied. After we received our order, a walk around the dining room yielded no clean tables. Every single table was dirty to a point where it was evident from a good distance away. As my 3 year old is a relatively messy eater, I knew that she would be touching the bare table with her food no matter how hard I tried otherwise. I went to the counter to see several people behind it doing nothing and displaying the thousand yard stare. When I asked for the manager, I got the look of death from one while the other one slowly turned and leisurely walked back to retrieve the manager. The manager was polite and promptly sent an employee out to clean tables. After a ten minute search or the various cabinets in the dining room, she found some cleaning materials. She immediately asked me which table I wanted cleaned and promptly did so.

Of course my daughter wanted a happy meal. As we were dining in, we received our food on a tray. Upon opening her happy meal, her fries were upside down in the box. There was absolutely no way to retrieve these without having to pick through the cross contaminated box. Also, the plain cheese burger was not plain. I recently visited McDonald's and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with friendly and efficient staff.

The food was hot and fresh, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the Big Mac, which was delicious and satisfying. The fries were also excellent, with the perfect level of crispiness. I also appreciated the convenience of the drive-thru, which allowed me to quickly grab a meal on the go.

One thing that stood out to me was the commitment to customer service. The employees were all very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was enjoyable. They were quick to refill drinks and check on the table to make sure everything was satisfactory.

Overall, McDonald's exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I will definitely be returning in the future

How complicated can it be to eat a sandwich and order some coffee? Well, you can visit McDonald's to find out. The parkings to order and pickup from the car and the drive through ones use the same numbers, they are easily confusing. A place like McDonald's should make things fool proof. How hard is to use 1,2,3,4,5,6 rather than reuse 1,2,3? Of couse that the person bringing the food outside didn't looked if someone was parked on 3 at the drive through. The food sat at the table, getting cold, where someone stole the drinks. The app changed from, "we will bring the food to you", to " come pickup the food inside". and the order number was nowhere to be found. luckily I had the idea of looking in my email and found the order number. Finally ice coffee has cream (I was expecting it to be black) . The order was missing the sauce for the nuggets. It was a very unpleasant situation, and ot felt that I was doing something wrong all the time.I reality the situation could have been remediated if the numbering on the parking spots were not reused and confusing. or if the lady once she found stall 3 empty had the idea of looking over the other side.
