10 Barrel was on my list of places to visit while in Portland. A couple of their beers are distributed to us in New Mexico and are really good. I was excited to try their other offerings! I sat at the bar, right behind some of the drat heads. The woman behind the bar looked directly at me, as she continued to pour beers for everyone else there. Unfortunately, I could not get served by her. I noticed the girl sitting next to me, who had sat down right before me, was having the same problem. As my frustration grew and I looked on my phone for other places still open and serving food, we finally got served by another worker who noticed we weren't getting any attention. He was very nice and attentive the rest of my stay. I deiced to order the salmon and it was very good. The beers I tried were also very very good! As the girl sitting next to me and I talked, I learned that she too was feeling frustrated when we first got there by not getting served by the first employee. I hate being that guy but we both felt like we were being discriminated on by the first employee, as I am Hispanic and the girl next to me was Native American. I really hope that was not the case but it sure is strange when everyone else around you is getting served and you are obviously being ignored. I still gave 3 stars because I'm sure if that were the case, it is obviously non consistent with the company values. Also, the second employee was very kind and attentive, and the food and beers were good. That redeemed that situation for us. Also, because of the awkward situation, I made a new friend.

If you’re a craft beer lover or just looking for a fantastic dining experience, 10 Barrel Brewing in Portland is a must-visit! Located in a vibrant area, this brewery not only offers an impressive selection of house-brewed beers but also serves up delicious food that perfectly complements their brews.

As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a lively atmosphere that’s both welcoming and energetic. The spacious interior features a modern design with rustic touches, creating an inviting environment whether you’re there for a casual drink or a night out with friends. The outdoor patio is a highlight, providing a great spot to enjoy your beer while soaking up the Portland vibe.

The beer selection at 10 Barrel is nothing short of exceptional. From IPAs and stouts to sours and seasonal brews, there’s something for every palate. I highly recommend trying their “Apocalypse IPA,” which is bursting with flavor and has the perfect balance of hops. The tasting flights are a fantastic way to sample multiple brews, so you can find your new favorite!

Now, let’s talk about the food – it’s a game changer. The menu features a diverse range of options, from mouthwatering burgers and tacos to shareable appetizers that are perfect for pairing with your drinks. I had the pleasure of trying their “Beer Battered Fish Tacos,” and they were absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked, and the toppings added a fresh crunch that complemented the dish beautifully.

What truly sets 10 Barrel apart is the incredible service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the beers they serve. They are always happy to make recommendations based on your taste preferences, which adds a personal touch to your experience. I was impressed by how attentive they were, ensuring that my glass was never empty and that I had everything I needed.

The brewery also hosts fun events and live music, making it a lively spot to hang out with friends or meet new people. Whether it’s trivia night or a local band playing, there’s always something happening that adds to the vibrant community feel.

In conclusion, 10 Barrel Brewing Portland is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy great craft beer and delicious food in a lively atmosphere. With a stellar beer selection, tasty menu, and exceptional service, it’s no wonder this place is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Make sure to stop by and experience the magic for yourself – you won’t be...

I went to 10 Barrel to have a few beers on August 10th 2024. Was asked to leave by Savannah, one of the bar tenders/servers. She said that I was making another guest feel uncomfortable, even though that person hadn't made any such complaint to Savannah. I had just been talking to Savannah's sister, Sydney, and never said anything untoward or inappropriate to her. Didn't ask for her number, nothing.

When I questioned Savannah about why she felt that I was making this other person feel uncomfortable, she said that I was making HER feel uncomfortable. Really, Savannah? Obviously this was a way of shifting the conversation. She had nothing to back up her accusation. I was making you feel uncomfortable? How? By questioning your baseless claim?

Folks, we live in a world where is someone working at a bar decides they don't like you for some reason, any reason, all they need to say is that "you are making them feel uncomfortable", and you will have zero standing. You will be asked to leave and to never return.

To be clear, I'm not making a complaint about the food, or the drink or the way I'm sure you will be treated by most of the people working there. It's not a bad place. But if you encounter Savannah, and she doesn't like you for whatever reason, she may just decide to ask you to leave, and that will be that. No one will care what you have to say.

Before Savannah asked me to leave, I told her I was on my out the door, but that didn't stop Savannah from getting two male workers to back her up, and add support. One yelled at me sharply, twice. I have it all on video. But I did comply, even though they acted like I wasn't complying and told me all the way that the cops were on their way.

On their way for what??? I was asked to leave. I was leaving. I didn't threaten anyone. This does not mean that I don't have the right to respond in kind to the way I'm being treated, which was colossally unfair.

Hopefully if you go there, you won't experience what I did, but as long as Savannah is working it is a...

First off, I have to say that 10 Barrel makes AMAZING food. Their menu looks so good it was hard to choose what to order. Based on food alone, i would give this place 10 stars. It was that good. Unfortunately, the service was horrible. We showed up after work and it was fairly busy (We figured this place must be awesome with so many people!). We sat down and the waitress took my drink order..... and then never brought it.. She showed back up to take our food order, at which point, i ordered my drink and food and received it all without problem. As she dropped off our food she asked if we needed anything else. We asked for some side condiments and another drink. Those never showed up ,although, we watched her tending to other customers and repeatedly tried to get her attention to no avail. We ate, and immensely enjoyed our plates. The nachos were incredible. Towards the end we asked our waitress for a to-go box to pack up our leftovers and the check so that we could close out. She never brought those either and at some point kind of disappeared. We waited about 30 minutes total before finally getting up and grabbing another server and asked her for a box and the check. Some other guy brought us our check, it seems our waitress maybe went on break or something? We never saw our server again and left feeling really bummed that their food was soo tasty but the service was so horrible we never want to go back :( I was really hoping that this was a 1-time fluke and that other customers don't get forgotten about often but after reading all these other reviews, it seems their terrible service is a common theme. We eat out at a new/different restaurant every weekend and this was the worst service we have ever received and the first time i have ever not left a tip. Spend your money at a place that cares about how they treat...
