Read moreI went to 10 Barrel to have a few beers on August 10th 2024. Was asked to leave by Savannah, one of the bar tenders/servers. She said that I was making another guest feel uncomfortable, even though that person hadn't made any such complaint to Savannah. I had just been talking to Savannah's sister, Sydney, and never said anything untoward or inappropriate to her. Didn't ask for her number, nothing.
When I questioned Savannah about why she felt that I was making this other person feel uncomfortable, she said that I was making HER feel uncomfortable. Really, Savannah? Obviously this was a way of shifting the conversation. She had nothing to back up her accusation. I was making you feel uncomfortable? How? By questioning your baseless claim?
Folks, we live in a world where is someone working at a bar decides they don't like you for some reason, any reason, all they need to say is that "you are making them feel uncomfortable", and you will have zero standing. You will be asked to leave and to never return.
To be clear, I'm not making a complaint about the food, or the drink or the way I'm sure you will be treated by most of the people working there. It's not a bad place. But if you encounter Savannah, and she doesn't like you for whatever reason, she may just decide to ask you to leave, and that will be that. No one will care what you have to say.
Before Savannah asked me to leave, I told her I was on my out the door, but that didn't stop Savannah from getting two male workers to back her up, and add support. One yelled at me sharply, twice. I have it all on video. But I did comply, even though they acted like I wasn't complying and told me all the way that the cops were on their way.
On their way for what??? I was asked to leave. I was leaving. I didn't threaten anyone. This does not mean that I don't have the right to respond in kind to the way I'm being treated, which was colossally unfair.
Hopefully if you go there, you won't experience what I did, but as long as Savannah is working it is a...
Read moreFirst off, I have to say that 10 Barrel makes AMAZING food. Their menu looks so good it was hard to choose what to order. Based on food alone, i would give this place 10 stars. It was that good. Unfortunately, the service was horrible. We showed up after work and it was fairly busy (We figured this place must be awesome with so many people!). We sat down and the waitress took my drink order..... and then never brought it.. She showed back up to take our food order, at which point, i ordered my drink and food and received it all without problem. As she dropped off our food she asked if we needed anything else. We asked for some side condiments and another drink. Those never showed up ,although, we watched her tending to other customers and repeatedly tried to get her attention to no avail. We ate, and immensely enjoyed our plates. The nachos were incredible. Towards the end we asked our waitress for a to-go box to pack up our leftovers and the check so that we could close out. She never brought those either and at some point kind of disappeared. We waited about 30 minutes total before finally getting up and grabbing another server and asked her for a box and the check. Some other guy brought us our check, it seems our waitress maybe went on break or something? We never saw our server again and left feeling really bummed that their food was soo tasty but the service was so horrible we never want to go back :( I was really hoping that this was a 1-time fluke and that other customers don't get forgotten about often but after reading all these other reviews, it seems their terrible service is a common theme. We eat out at a new/different restaurant every weekend and this was the worst service we have ever received and the first time i have ever not left a tip. Spend your money at a place that cares about how they treat...
