We rented this venue for our wedding. The staff wasn't super friendly and kinda difficult to work with but they allowed us to use our own caterer. But this place is super nice looking for wedding. Also the rent is discounted on certain days, however it also costs more to rent on popular days like long weekends. If you want to rent this place for wedding during summer, you have to reserve very far in advance because their theater schedule doesn't come out until very late. Initially we wanted to have our wedding in September but later on found out that they have shows throughout september. They have speaker system set up already so you can skip having a DJ and save money. We were told that their garbage might be full on our wedding evening because of a show. So, if the garbage is full, we were told to take the garbage with us because there was no other way. In the end, the garbage wasn't full and everything worked out. All in all everything was fine. They gave us season tickets for the shows at the armory theater, which was very nice. We took many of our friends and family and it was a fin experience. I will...
Read moreI love attending live theatre, but the price of good season tickets is still just a little too much of a splurge for my budget. Enter PCS. Not only do they have reasonably-priced individual tickets, but also a variety of combination tickets to suit anyone. I wasn’t totally sure on which seats the various offers would let me get, and so I emailed customer service. I quickly received an message back that explained the very generous ticketing policy. I was able to take advantage of the Armory Card for those aged 35 and under for 5 shows at $25 each. I thought with this offer I’d be sitting in the nosebleeds, but I actually got to pick my seat, whether that was in the Orchestra or Mezzanine, first row or back. I am looking forward to a season at the beautiful Armory. Thank you PCS for making quality...
Read moreWent to see "A Misummer Night's Dream" at PCS. This was the first time in my 61 years of going to theater and other performances that I left before it was over (here, at intermission; I'd have left much earlier but didn't want to disturb other audience members). Forget the gratuitous and ill-considered gender-reversals and absurd and childish costuming: The actors simply had no skill in acting, nor did the director (or actors) have any idea what the play was about. The actors mouthed words whose meaning they clearly had no idea of ("this disassembling mirror", instead of "this dissembling mirror"). I have seen better performances by small children. PCS should be ashamed of itself for charging people high ticket prices for them to endure such a horrible "performance". I will...
