Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Portland

THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Do yourself a favor and Do NOT stop here!!! It took over an hour to get drinks! After we went over our order 3 different times with the waitress. Asked to speak to a manager because our little ones had food with No drinks! Explained our concerns with the so called manger and she said she would work on the drinks only to come out with 1 appetizer. So asked her again about the drinks and asked her to bring the kids now please before she brought out the others she did that and never came back with drinks. Waitress came out and asked if we needed anything and asked her again for drinks. Food was missing and wrong when they finally did bring it out… She had the audacity to say she wasn’t clear on the order so asked for the “manger” again… I asked her if she even helped the waitress after we expressed our concerns. She was so argumentative and defensive. Said she did help and brought the kids drinks. She also said she helped the waitress with our order. After explaining to her food was wrong and missing she said well she didn’t physically see her put it in only trusted her to do it. She was upset and degrading so Another manger comes with a worse attitude to ask what she can do to make it better cause she all ready heard what the problem was and it looked like they fixed it! We sent our food back didn’t touch it but still came out paying over 50 dollars because she said she had to charge the full price for appetizers we received under the 2 for 29. Like stated before do not waste your time 3 and a half hours later no one ate but our 4 year old! This was the absolute WORSE...

Our food all of it was cold , i have i ndustry experience and i can tell you not only did our food sit in the window either the heat lamps were off or broken because not only was the food cold but so were the plates ,Kids pizza was microwaved till the crust was rock hard my daughter ate the center and was fine, that doesnt mean it should have ever been served , sat at a table then waited forever just to put in our drink order, drinks tasted bad , unsweet tea instead of sweet tea, waited forever to have them replaced-manager walked by and took care of it , we only saw our server twice the entire experience. I asked if they had the aujus for the prime rib sandwhich reluctant to get something i didnt think would be delivered right , i could have gotten hotter aujus in a soup kitchen with mike and the boys and the sandwhich wasn't even gas station warm . My wife ordered an app as entire and was assured it would come out as an entrée and it was still brought ahead of the rest of our food again manager saw us agitated at this point waiting for everthing else and immediately went to the back and had the rest brought out , we tipped and i sincerely hope he got it , he was the only one trying while the rest of his staff clearly did not care to be there .we werent rude or mean to any staff but as a guest for the first time at an applebees i will never go back , I hope the manager finds another establishment to work for where hes compensated...

My daughter wanted to eat at Applebee's for her birthday, we brought presents, were even asked whose birthday it was. They didn't offer the free dessert or even to just sing Happy birthday. The chicken tenders, hot wings, and both grilled type chicken entrees as well as the classic burger were so salty half of our party couldn't eat. The wild rice, fries and Alfredo were completely bland. Even the ranch dressing was salty. And upon seeing how much food went uneaten weren't asked what was wrong, brought us the smallest to go boxes in the world and gave us a check for nearly $80. I've never spent more than $60 at Applebee's with my family of 5, and we got less food than we usually do. We won't be visiting this or any Applebee's for awhile if ever again. And before someone says it, no we did not complain and ask for more food because 1. It took long enough to getthe first round of food. 2. It wasn't just 1 plate, it was 6 including the appetizer, chefs and staff (not at this establishment but historically) have been known to mess with people's food for this type of insult. 3. We have to travel over 40 miles round trip and had further plans for the evening. And lastly, it was her 11th birthday, she didn't want me to complain and essentially ruin her night because I have been known to loudly make my point in complaints about my food and it...
