Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Portland

I have been here time and time again..I have found myself at many other chilis and this one by far is my favorite. I live about 40min out from this chilis and I will drive to this one any day. Yesterday we went there to eat a late lunch about 3pm. I have never had issues with food or customer service here and I am extremely picky when I eat at places. The waitress we had, I wish I could remember her name, but she was ABSOLUTELT PHENOMENAL!! My bf doesn't take much to tip 25% he usually only wants his dr pepper refill and he's going to tip regardless about food or anything. He ordered the burger and when he ordered the burger he asked for no tomatoes, and then ordered the salad and the waitress asked since he didn't get tomatoes on his burger would he like them not on the salad, but before she could finish her sentence I cut her off and said "yes no tomatoes on the salad please!" That's what you call great service, when someone is paying attention. I won't get too into detail, but he can't have tomatoes, his acid reflux makes him vomit shortly after eating so I have to pander his meals at home with no tomatoes as well. The fact that in all of my 20 years going to restaurants and shopping this was the most amazing service I've ever received. I've gone here and even tipped the cook because the food is absolutely perfect everytime I go. I've gone to this chilis probably over 20 times here and with my daughter and everyone loved her as well, saying she is so cute. Such friendly staff, amazing cooks. They shouldn't change a thing and I'm not sure why people gave 1 stars. There have been chilis I've been to that didn't even give my complete order and I walked out with waitresses not even giving the food. Also the lady we had yesterday told me the watermelon lemonade was relish, and she was absolutely correct! 10/10 would recommend again. 08-22-2025 We stopped in to have lunch today and it was exceptional. The customer service was great, as was the wait staff. We had the " 3 for me", with 1 being the Crispy Chicken Sandwich/fries and the other order being a smashburger/fries. The Crispy Chicken sandwich was excellent, just to die for and my wife said the smashburger was just fantastic. The table service was spot on, never had to wait for a refill and was simply expedient and courteous.

You really need to come give these guys in Portland a try and you will be hooked. Don't forget, I'm talking about the Portland Chilis. The other locations not so much as they just don't, in my opinion, come close to the exceptional customer service and food quality at the Chilis in Portland. Kudos to the staff!

As it always has been, OUTSTANDING service and EXCELLENT food .

We each had the "3 For" menu and each selected the crispy chicken sandwich.

WOW, the chicken sandwich was crispy and hot. The chicken was really juicy. The french fries were also hot.

Again a great time, a great server and great food.

Would highly recommend it, just can't get better!

EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. Had the new smash burger with fries. WOW - Perfectly cooked, tasted sooooo good. Our server was outstanding and tended to our every need.

How can you get any better! Would highly recommend coming to this Chilis in Portland. It's simply the best!

Wife and I both had the "Old-Timer" hamburger with cheese and fries. Plus we had Queso Blanco with chips and salsa.

WOW! The cheese burgers and fries were great. Cooked just right and really had a great taste.

We highly recommend giving these a try. We will return again for the best hamburgers...

We stopped here after a long drive from DFW to have dinner and celebrate my son's birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. They seated us right away, which was a pleasant surprise after a long day on the road. The atmosphere was upbeat, and the restaurant was clean and inviting.

Our server, Ashley, was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. She kept our drinks full the entire time and checked in frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. What really made this visit special was how the team helped celebrate my son’s birthday. They brought out a dessert and sang to him, making him feel truly special. You could tell the staff genuinely cared about creating a great experience for their guests.

The food came out hot and fresh, and everything tasted great. It was honestly one of the best visits we’ve had at any Chili’s location. This visit completely exceeded our expectations. Thank you to Ashley and the entire team for making my son’s birthday dinner...
