Smh.
Okay so the first time I came here, I though staff was kind of rude and short with me but I didn't take it personally.
A couple weeks later, I came in and both baristas have their backs turned to me for longer than 3 minutes (feels like being ignored, a hello works fine. Doesn't take that much energy)....
Then the sales interaction was just awkward and uncomfortable. There was something on the menu I realized I didn't want- and I put it back in the cold case and changed my mind. The girl took the opportunity to ask me during the sale "btw is that dog a service dog?"
Here's the deal; you can ask me about my dog all you'd like (and yes she is. I have PTSD and autism) and I found your interaction quite rude.
Why would you wait to ask me about my dog who is being held in my arms, while we are taking the order in a very passive aggressive manner? Find a better way to get the answers you need out of people who are supporting your business and actually buying your gross coffee and attempting to buy your overpriced food.
You're never supposed to start taking the order and lead me into a passive aggressive situation when you then decide me to ask about my dog after I put something back that I didn't want. I asked how much the sandwich was and after finding out that it was nearly $12 I was like okay I don't want this anymore and before I could even put the sandwich back you were asking me if my dog was a service dog or not.
I HAVE BEEN HERE THREE TIMES IN THE LAST COUPLE WEEKS WITH RUBY IN MY ARMS EACH TIME, WHY WAS IT IN THIS TRANSACTION THAT YOU'D BRING ANYTHING UP?
I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE OWNERS INFORMATION AND...
Read moreThis place has a great neighborhood/community vibe to it. It may not fit the Instagram coffee aesthetic, but it is the perfect place to spend hours in ordering different drinks and pastries and having a long relaxing chat with friends.
The staff is so friendly, there's always plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, and the bathroom is always clean and has a place for parents and babies. Kids can also enjoy some free books and toys to play with while parents eat.
They have a great menu with many of your favorite drink options as well as sizable smoothies and a nice variety of gluten-free pastries. All their toasts and bagels can be replaced with gluten-free options that are actually delicious and filling. I spend whole mornings here and often leave full and happy without...
Read moreCool little spot, fair prices, good coffee. The only thing I really don't like is it feels like the air conditioning is always running, even in winter, because the floor vents blow so hard if you are anywhere near them you are going to be cold and uncomfortable. The two round tables nearest the front counter both have air conditioning vents blasting all the time. And they're probably not actually on a cold temperature, they just blow so hard and right at you you will be cold if you sit at these tables. The guy in front of me at the other round table is wearing a hoody with his hood up because it is so cold. I'm thinking of putting mine up too. Please, can you not run the air conditioning in the...
