COLLECTOR — Restaurant in Portland

We had a lovely time at Collector! We tried a few cocktails (Matchbook, Take Me Back, Broken Clock) and they were all delicious (and quite expensive, but that’s Portland I guess).

Laid back and romantic atmosphere, definitely a good place for a cute date or meeting up with friends (not a ton of seating for large groups though). Loved the woodwork and decor, and big fan of the dimmed and cozy lighting.

My small complaint is that they weren’t serving food when we went, but even then the options are kinda meh since they only offer canned fish options. It’s probably hot and trendy and that’s what the cOoL kIdZ want, but what about simpler...

Great vibes. Cool decor. I was there for a private event and it was a great spot. Definitely recommend for dates and getting amazing drinks.

In terms of accessibility, it was okay. I’m in a wheelchair, and the event I attended had 30+ people, so it was a bit challenging to move around. You definitely feel like you’d be bumping into folks depending how busy it is. There’s bar service, but the bartenders seemed nice enough to bring your drink to your table. We stumbled upon this cozy new bar after a dinner at Friendship Kitchen. Collector had some of the best cocktails I've had in Portland and the staff were so nice and friendly (shout out to Carson!). I loved the stark exposed rough concrete wall, enclosed wood booths and the bar wall thoughtfully covered in a unique collection of artifacts, art and a large taxidermy peacock.
