Buckman Field Park — Attraction in Portland

Grasses are good, looking good soccer and sports fields. Boy and girls can exercise together. So many teams are there so much fun each other. But parking is horrible problem. They don’t have regular parking spaces. Always parking near by some buildings parallel parking lots. But no safe at all. Sidewalk is not big enough. Couple construction jobs are around there. Super busy place so drop kids off and watching game and pick kids up and drive back so hard.! No public restrooms in there. If you have wheelchair, stroller you might be so tough to get in there. 2 large turf sports fields, a tiny playground and a grassy off leash area. There is a long running pick up soccer game on the south field around noon almost every week day (not sure if it has continued through Covid-19). The track is a 1/3 mile long, so account for that. The parking area will be closed in June while neighboring Benson Polytechnic High School is being remodeled. A new building will also be built on the current parking lot. Now that Benson Polytechnic High School is open, Buckman Field is open for business with its artificial grass and a new track that are now complete. Four stars because the only bathroom, a single, is in the senior living center by the tennis courts on the west side. Best parking is along NE Glisan.
