I have been to many restaurants and I have liked some and some not. Today was my 1st time to eat here and I can't say enough about this please. From the time we open the door to all the way out the door was completely awesome. We were greeted the second we were in the door with a smile from ear to ear. We were seated and was given ice cold water while we were looking at the menu with a smile on his face. He was patient we us by letting us take our time to look at the menu since it was a first time there. Meanwhile he kept busy, he never stop to talk or sit around. The place was clean from top to bottom. The bathroom was fixed up very cute with a warm welcome and super clean. When he came over to take our order he had a smile again. When my daughter, and niece giving their order he turn to me and still with a smile. I asked please sir what do you suggest and with a huge smile he said the pasta with Salmon. He had many suggestions and they all look good. I did pick his suggestion and it was yummy. The cooks in the back are awesome, they make your food to perfection and fresh and I don't doubt they had a smile too. The restaurant is a must to try, you will not find a better clean, professional staff, warm welcome, polite, respectful and most importantly a huge genuine smile from ear to ear. Thank you for the best food and excellent customer service. We will be back and back. God Bless you all....

This unassuming bar/restaurant dining room opened just 7 months ago and impressed and delighted me with the awesomeness of their food! Cute yet hip, small indoor dining area in a shared building next to a bike shop with around 6 dog friendly outside tables adjacent to their parking lot. Elegant, tasty, beautifully presented food in a chill gastropub type setting.

I ordered the Rockfish entree and the presentation was lovely with micro greens topping the perfectly grilled fish atop white rice, all swimming in a spicy-sweet green sauce. A triumph! After I finished every last bit I asked my delightful server (Kate, if I recall correctly) if they had any bread so I could sop up the sauce, they did and the bread blew my mind- dipped in butter and fried crispy- OMG! Try and ease up on your bread restriction here, I'm telling you. Food so good I said I had to try a dessert and it was a crisp of some sort and my inner fat boy celebrated at the combination of sweet, crispy, fruity, grainy warmth cooled by the vanilla ice cream. MOST DEF COMING BACK HERE, many times. I don't care it's a 15 minute drive from my downtown home. Go quick before it becomes as busy as it will...

The origins of the name of this pub-like lunch and breakfast restaurant are not known to me. I have had Friday lunch here for nearly 6 years on a regular basis. Just before the Covid plague, the previous restaurant closed and my vice opened. It stayed open, unlike many of the nearby restaurants, during the plague, and eventually flourished. The chef — whom I have not met — is an unlikely burley fellow who is one of the most creative cooks I have had the pleasure of sampling his menu. The creativity is remarkable, especially considering the limited menu of a breakfast lunch type of restaurant. The names of his dishes alone are worth the visit. He also succeeds in keeping the costs down, which makes the decision to drop in a much easier one. It has a full bar with excellent, equally creative, cocktails, and very limited, but well-chosen wines. The service is remarkable, and the waitresses greet me by name when I come in. Totally unnecessary, but totally pleasurable. Every dish recommended below I have had at least twice and sometimes as many as five times. The average, huge, main dish is...

I would definitely come back for the brunch food and drinks! I’ve driven by this spot many times before and didn’t realize what I was missing. We came on a weekday, street parking was easy, we were warmly greeted, and sat at the bar. The drinks were carefully crafted with quality ingredients, and so was the food. I struggled to decide between a few items that all sounded great. Eventually we ordered breakfast sandwiches with sausage. The house made sausage patty had a unique flavor and excellent texture. Loved the combination of toppings on the sandwich; more places really need to throw pickles on their breakfast sandos. The biscuit was a little on the dry side, even for a biscuit, so next time I would try it with the English muffin. Homemade hot sauce is great, ask for it with your meal! For drinks, I recommend their lemonade and prickly pear limeade too. Really cute, cozy atmosphere with all the art and wood textures.

I just came looking for toast for takeout, because all the places closer to me are shut down for various reasons from the snow blast. Didn’t end up getting toast- instead got a English muffin with butter and jam. Which came out from the kitchen fast and was hot when it got to me. They were very nice about me staying, and didn’t seem to care that I wasn’t getting a huge breakfast. She offered for me to take my time and sit anywhere I wanted. I had never been here before this, but I would definitely come in the future just because of how nice the blonde server with a black and grey striped beanie was, she seemed to be very on-top of everything and engaged with everyone at tables. Not to mention the decor is super interesting to look at. Thanks!

The stars are for the food and drink! Absolutely delicious 🤤 Food & Drink: You can’t pick something that you aren’t gonna enjoy. Proper rotating menus that celebrate what’s in season. Be prepared for a place like this: Location: It’s on a main thorough-way. So= Noise and wind outside. It’s situated facing East/west so that it’ll get chilly quickly and the sun doesn’t face it for too long. Size: It’s tiny. The building is so precious and definitely at least 100 yrs old. Very little parking, very limited seating, one marvelous “take me to another era” bathroom. Have reservations! This is one of those gems you have to try and I hope we never lose!
