I came to pick up a taco order and was told, "I’ll be right back," the employee stepped outside with no explanation of how long he’d be gone. The environment felt off, someone was lying across a booth with their feet up, which felt inappropriate and unhygienic. I waited near the door, and when the employee came back, I stood at the counter, but he helped someone who arrived after me without checking who was next. It felt disorganized and dismissive. On top of that, the tacos weren’t even that good. The meat was chunky, rushed, and not made with care. One taco had so much fat it was barely edible. I won’t be returning. Read moreA MUST GO spot for anyone in Portland. We’re from Vancouver, Canada and always stop by here. The food is always a hit and the prices are at a very affordable price for what you get. The owner always takes care of his customers and gives vibe that just feels like you’re eating with your family. To the owner, thank you for the hospitality and kindness you showed. We hope you get the recognition...

Pictured is the second wad of paper towels that I used to soak up all that grease. I tried to spoon it out and eventually just gave up, I couldn’t make a dent in that thick layer of grease. When the soup kind of sat out and got a little colder, the grease started to harden and that’s when I knew it wasn’t just oil. You can even see the separation between the oil/grease and actual soup on the spoon in...
