It's a pretty cool and intimate spot to enjoy some great food and cocktails. I really enjoyed the decor and atmosphere of this place. My friends and I had a great time catching up to go with our wonderful meal. The shishito peppers, Buffalo chicken livers, and marinated olives were great starters. The white pie with mushrooms and classic pizzas were delicious. The flavors were great, and so was the crust. The beef bolognese had great texture and flavor to it. To end the meal, we had a sweet corn creme brulee, which was quickly devoured. My friend was lucky to be able to get a cup of cappuccino from the manager. This was very unexpected and a service that went above and beyond. I'll definitely come here again.

They always have about three or four really exceptional non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu in addition to a full bar. The salads and pizzas are awesome, but the real standout (for me at least) was the focaccia. You’ll want to order two servings of that right off the bat. The food, drinks, and friendly staff help make this one of my favorite spots in Portland.

A great place for small bites (pasta portion was kinda small, so you should order extra food if you're coming to EAT) and a relaxing atmosphere. The pizza is fantastic. The mozzarella sun-dried tomato salad was refreshing and delicious. Excellent flourless chocolate cake and coffee to finish. Rich, decadent.

I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. the food was good but not great the portions were too small for the price (salad size was decent) they were chintzy with the table bread you paid extra for I normally appreciate a small menu but this was maybe too small (rice, pasta, gnocchi, pizza) the small pizza was good; nice size and crust they had as many desserts as they had mains the music was so loud you couldn’t hear people in your party but they turned it down when asked the drinks and wine menu seem good the interior looked new, the lighting and paint and pictures on the walls and bar all looked very nice the table and chairs you sit in are comfortable — especially the chairs the service was good

I won’t...

While the bar tender was great and the food was good (not great), my rating would have been higher had it not been for two things:

  1. I am Gluten intolerant, fortunately not celiac. I asked for them to simply leave the pasta off my dinner choice and they said the kitchen does not allow any changes to an order. That means I couldn’t even order the Eggplant Parmesan sans the pasta. That’s ridiculous. I wasn’t asking them to make anything new - just leave something off! And very few other options for someone not able to eat Gluten!
  2. We paid $60 for an $18 bottle of wine! Way too expensive.

Nice place. But we won’t be back and won’t recommend to our friends and neighbors. They’re really missing a great opportunity to thrive...
