This is a great green public space that has so much potential. Unfortunately I especially during the summer months this park is overrun with wannabe highschool thugs. These ghetto gangstas intimidate the general public. They lack class are very rude and leave their filth strewn about the entire park. It does not feel safe when these swarms of uneducated foul-mouthed teenagers cause a constant uncontrolled ruckus. Makes one fear for the future and makes one wonder where these kids so-called parental guardians are if they even exist. But these thoughts usually go away quickly due to the secondhand marijuana smoke that permeates the air in the park like a stalled cloud thanks to these miscreants. To bad the gang related shooting and other antisocial activities don't scare these kids into the scrub mall next door(Lloyd...

Frightening even in broad daylight. I grew up in NEP & we always had our guard up, but it's gone downhill bigtime. Headed to Max to catch a rockshow @ Providence Park & had to watch 2 vagrants team up to try & steal a young lady's bag right in front of God & Everybody. I hesitated for a couple seconds, thinking she was just arguing w/ her boyfriend. Just that quick and you're stunned cuz you can't believe what's going down- she fought them off & kept her bag- elapsed time: bout 12seconds! You Go BraveGirl! So relieved she won cuz it coulda been worse. There should be armed patrols! What happened to Transit Police? It's been years since I rode TriMet but this crap used to be quelled immediately if it happened @all. Be ready for stuff if you choose to use Public Transpo!...

I totally like it. I love the trees & the shade. Cool park indeed. It could be like a sanctuary in the city.

Yet, largely unsafe. A young man came up behind me on an electric scooter (sidewalk) & abruptly thrust me to the pavement face forward. I’m 65 and it was a bloody injury. He had a small gang with him. I made my way back to the Max train limping, in tears. I wish I could walk through there & enjoy the park, but just too risky.

The police are understaffed. Unfortunately laws can’t be enforced, therefore safety cannot be insured.

Praying for this city as well as this world we live in.

Electric scooters are not to be on busy pedestrian sidewalks. Other illegal activities...

Holladay Park is a nice little park in Portland right next to the mall. It's not that big, and it is quite nice looking but some homeless people are occupying a little of the space because it is Portland, where there are tons of homeless people. I've heard that it can get a little shady when many crimes happen such as drug use. On a light note, it is quite pretty in the Spring and summertime, that's when the water features are on. It is also a nice place to walk your dog. There are plenty of statues and art pieces to look at. The fountains are quite nice for kids to Play in. Sometimes functions happen and there are activities to do.

This park was quiet at sunrise on a weekend morning. There are plenty of benches and large mature trees along the paths criss-crossing this one-square-block urban park. There are some indications of drug use but the park is clean, thanks in part to a local I see who is walking the entire park picking up trash. 3 person tables are scattered throughout. The sod is quite soft even though it has not rained in a few days. A few sculptures accent the central area where the ping pong tables and spray park water feature is.

Beautiful park that the grounds crew was working on when I got there. There was leaves everywhere, but it looks like it was getting taken care of. There was plenty of places to sit, and this place had a fountain for the summer in the middle of it. 3 different trains(Blue, Red, & Green) pass by here as well as 3 different TriMet Busses (70, 8 & 77) Lloyd Center is still around and is actually still a nice mall just with fewer stores and peope inside :(
