Sesame Donuts — Restaurant in Portland

I'm disappointed because I used to drive for 45 min once or twice a month to go to the Sesame Doughnuts in Beaverton when I lived in Portland. That's how much I enjoyed their doughnuts.

I got an old fashion doughnut. It was very dry, but not like an old fashioned should be. It was dry and dense, making it not very pleasant to chew. The frosting was also alarming sweet (yes I know it's frosting, but still) and one half tasted like bubble gum, and there was a small coconut flavored section. I actually threw out half the doughnut. After all the flavor changes.

I'm also a little grumpy about the price. Now I was in a hurry, so I may have misread the sign. But I thought it said 1 doughnut 99¢ and I was charged $1.99. I was in a hurry so whatever, but it made the crummy doughnut worse.

Was heading out to Sandy for Oregons best doughnut shop only to find out they're minutes away from closing. Disappointed, kids and I found out about Sesame Doughnuts online and drove there. Easy to find and with a good selection of doughnuts! Got two dozen variety doughnuts plus a free one, really nice lady. Went home, tried doughnuts... WOW! Really good 👍! Better doughnuts than the other places in town, really. The custard filled coconut one is my favorite. Tasted similar to another custard filled coconut doughnut that was the crowned jewel of this grocery store in Beaverton (long gone out of business)! This one doughnut brought back memorable moments gone by over the years. Yes! Definitely getting more doughnuts...

I would like to have the chance to try the gluten free donuts and be available to leave a better review but the “” workers “” didn’t even bother themselves in take the order from my boyfriend that drove all the way there to get some. in Google maps and even in its door there is a sign that says “sundays open until 6 pm.” So it’s 5.10 pm and they’re response as soon as he try’s to get in to order is “No,we are closed. “ (even tho all the stuff was there,all the lights on and the sign saying “open until 6 pm. )

It would be nice if you guys would try to not to mess with people’s time,It would save us the drive there if you just add next to that “open until 6 pm “ sign the warning “ as long as the Stuff members are feeling...
