If you're looking for an authentic Mexican culinary experience, look no further than this family owned Mexican business! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm welcome and friendly smiles from the staff. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, with colorful decor and traditional music playing in the background.

Now let's talk about the food! Their tacos are absolutely to die for. Each one is made with care and attention to detail, using fresh ingredients and traditional recipes passed down through generations. The flavors are bold and delicious, with just the right amount of spice. Whether you prefer chicken, beef, or vegetarian options, they have something for everyone.

But what really sets this place apart is the service. The owner truly goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. They're always happy to answer any questions you have about the menu or the ingredients, and they're quick to offer recommendations based on your taste preferences. It's clear that they take pride in what they do, and they genuinely care about making sure their customers are happy.

Overall, I can't recommend this family owned Mexican business enough. If you're a fan of delicious food, lively vibes, and top-notch service, you absolutely must check it out. Trust me, you won't be...

A hidden gem in the truest sense- though it deserves much more praise and recognition. Not necessarily a gem which should be hidden. Long story short, this place is amazing. I am constantly hunting for the city's best tacos, and unfortunately have been let down by places which the food scene hypes the most. A place like el paisano deserves the hype of any other more specific and glamorous taco joint which magazines and social media like to praise, but tenfold. Simply no one is doing it like this. Perfectly cooked and seasoned meats, an eclectic but familiar interior vibe, and straight buss-down salsas to your hearts content (with free chips to snack on while you wait). Once the liquor license comes through, this place will be unstoppable. Did I mention they are open late too? Portland, lets keep this taco spot in business, forget the...

When I saw this place, I had no idea what I was in for. Taqueria El Paisano may easily be the most authentic spots in Portland. Seriously, I'm kinda amazed that this restaurant has yet to receive the praise it deserves. Not only does the service over deliver, but the attention to detail that goes into the dishes is unlike anything else I've experienced out here. Even the ambiance makes this taqueria feel like you've stepped into El Señor or Mazatlan. Also they're now open until 3am, so what's not to love about that? This place is massively underrated, so please give them some love.

Awesome taqueria with super friendly owner who shook my hand and introduced himself. Got four tacos - al pastor, cabeza, asada. The asada was my fave but my friend likes the al pastor. Prices are good at $2.5 a taco. There’s a splendid salsa bar with cactus salsa (which I’ve only ever seen at one other taqueria in the states) and tasty tangy pickled onions - red and white. They’re open till midnight! Free chips too. Will return!
