The Coffee Lab PDX — Restaurant in Portland

I rarely use google reviews (I’m a yelper lol) but just for this cart I’ll break tradition since the sweet gentleman asked today and since he’s such a good cook he deserves this:

We first found this cart while waiting for our pet at our nearby vets office who raved about them; today we popped in again and just like last time they did NOT disappoint… in fact it’s scary how good today was and how close I live!!

Today we got (forgot the names sorry!) an amazing half sweet caramel espresso amazement that my husband found the rare perfect balance of sweet and coffee; high honors from my normally dark roast plain black coffee because everyone makes things too sweet hipster hubby! The strawberry banana crepe was a stunning balance of sweet, spongy and whipped cream though due to eating it in the car it was a bit slippery. We also ordered a (Potion?) white chocolate cold brew concoction that makes me wish I could make this at home but maybe not cause I’d never stop drinking these… my chorizo Torta was truly a rare treat for me: hot but still with full flavor and without making me sick or uncomfortable! My child especially enjoyed bites of this one and can vouch it’s delicious.

My only two warnings: unless you’re only getting coffee this likely isn’t “fast” food. If you want a defrosted factory product thrown at you two mins because you have 6mins on break left after you’ve ordered this is NOT the place for you.

Ps on a random note I adore the attention to detail these owners have when it comes to their look, brand, messaging, etc as well as their infectious joyful energy not only for the business but also for their culture, for cgood food, the positive impact and for the community ♥️ We...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Coffee Lab PDX

The Philly cheesesteak was simply outstanding. The moment I took my first bite, I was greeted with an explosion of tender and juicy slices of beef, perfectly caramelized onions, and melted cheese encased in a warm and crusty roll, creating a harmonious blend of fresh textures. It was a mouthwatering delight that had me craving for more.

One standout creation at Coffee Lab PDX is the aptly named "Nuclear Weapon" drink. This concoction is an absolute flavor bomb! The blend of carefully selected ingredients provided a perfect balance between sweetness and a kick of caffeine. It was a true powerhouse of energy and taste, making it an ideal choice for those in need of an extra boost with great variety of custom flavor options.

Aside from the delectable food and drinks, the service at Coffee Lab PDX was exceptional. Its Family owned and they were friendly and inviting for great conversation. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

Coffee Lab PDX is a hidden gem of Portland and is a must-visit for any coffee and food enthusiast in the area.

Wow, what an impression! First off it’s a highly attractive presentation of a business, and then you get very good customer service. The food is absolutely delicious. I picked the burrito this morning, it came recommended, the portion size for the burrito was very thoughtful, not too small, not too big. The sauce that was provided with the burrito was amazing, very savory. Perfectly filling, I asked for a latte with whole milk and a pumpkin spice cinnamon type of flavoring with some whipped cream, it was perfect, so warming and delicious. I asked for it half strength for sugar content, and it just came out perfect. Fast service, high-quality foo, very good presentation of their business and their packaging that they put the burrito in was highly unique with messages encouraging positivity. I would highly suggest this food cart to anyone in the northwest area of Portland near Vaughan Street. I plan to return every time I’m at the Montgomery Park...
