The Jade Lounge — Restaurant in Portland

I worked with Eugene for my 50th birthday party and he made everything very easy and seamless. He suggested a menu of appetizers and he was very reasonably priced. The space itself was perfect for my party of about 45-50 people. There were plenty of tables if people wanted to sit and still plenty of space to mingle standing in-between. The ambiance was warm and inviting with jade green tones and the acoustics of the room lent itself to a great atmosphere where no one felt they needed to talk over one another but could still hear the faint music in the background. Cozy, intimate, relaxed atmosphere where it feels like you're just hanging out with all of your friends; some old, some new, some you haven't yet met. It was my first time here, and it just kinda felt like being at home. This is the highest praise I could ever offer in describing my experience of a bar. Edit in response to owner: I order mono everywhere I go and it's usually $5 to $5.50 I'm a bartender and I didn't ask the price because 1) we don't live in L.A and 2)I'm not usually expecting to be price gauged by some dive bar.
