In my perfect fantasy world I am drifting off to sleep every night with Ina Garten reading me the menu here while I watch these sandwiches sizzling and floating through my dreams. I haven't had anything bad from here. In fact, I haven't even had anything good from here. Everything has been AMAZING. The ingredients are so high quality and fresh. Your mind will just be frantically grasping at all the adjectives while you're chomping away. Salty, sweet, crispy, crunchy, savory, buttery, etc etc etc. In addition to the food, the people who work here are just the sweetest people you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. It feels like popping in on family when you stop there. The little cart pod is so nice with all the seating options and fires to keep you warm or shade to keep you cool. There's plenty of parking and it's just a block to the river if you want a view while you eat. You can't...

Went here for lunch the other day. I got the Mama Fratelli sandwich, no modifications. It was a really solid, really delicious sandwich. Will definitely be ordering that again. I can't speak to any of the other food.

I ordered ahead of time and then came to pick up. This was right as they opened (I think they open at noon, and I came to pick up around 12:15). There was a HUGE line so I was very glad that I had ordered already (it was also a pretty nice day out). Everyone was waiting pretty happily. They put such care into their sandwiches that it's just not a short process for them to make the sandwich. So, be prepared to wait a little if you're not ordering ahead of time. It’s been weeks since I first had these sandwiches for the first time and I still find myself dreaming of the amazing bread (and sandwiches in general). The lady at the cart was so genuinely pleasant and nice that it also added to my overall memory and feeling toward this place. Can’t wait to go back. My friend got the big dom, I got the PCT and we split them. They are very different from each other and so delicious in their own ways. It will be hard not to get both sandwiches again even if I’m on my own, cus I’ll need both haha.
