Annabelle's Natural Ice Cream — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Great little (seriously, for the ice cream lovers, this place couldn't be big enough!) ice cream shop in a happening neighborhood. Line to order quite literally goes out the door; however, the staff makes sure to keep it moving efficiently with 2-3 workers at the counter.

Echoing other reviews, Graham Central Station (graham cracker ice cream) was no joke and every bit as awesome as other reviews! Mocha Mud Pie (mocha ice cream w/ hydrox® cookies & pure chocolate chips) was as delicious and a nice second scoop.

For peanut butter junkies, your haven is Peanut Butter Fantasy (peanut butter ice cream, fudge swirls & reeses® peanut butter cups)... LEGIT!

Drove down from Maine to check this place out; intend on coming for a day to see the shops (and stop for more ice cream at Annabelle's!) before the end of our vacation. Awesome eats and cool treats!

there was a line but it moved fairly quick. Lots of ice cream options to choose from but I liked that they also have seasonal flavors and so I chose one from that list which was the Graham Central Station and of course the NH Pure Maple Nut. Both were delicious!

Inside was a bit old fashioned and dark though so I appreciate the few outdoor seats that they have - Especially since my ice cream started dripping. Location wise, it was a bit busy in Ceres street that day especially since it’s close to Moran Towing, restaurants and shops, etc so sometimes it could get a bit crowded and well..not the cleanest looking. I walked in to Annabelle's, unannounced, with 13 students and 5 staff members on a field trip with my students to a nearby ropes course. We were amazed by the selection of unique flavors and the quality of the ice cream. Perhaps most impressive was the service, the only girl behind the counter was able to quickly serve up nearly 20 ice creams with a smile. I forget her name but she was wearing a Clearwater tee and was a huge fan of manatees. She was as outstanding as the ice cream. I plan on taking my own kids this summer....
