D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches — Restaurant in Portsmouth

HORRIBLE place to eat or work! Totally unprofessional, dirty atmosphere. I was just recently hired on with no interview, no form of training what-so-ever, no contact information for the store or any of the managers. The store manager had me waiting for an hour before she showed up to meet with me, then had me stand in a corner for two hours just to tell me to drive back in about four hours. (I drove 120 miles that day and didn't receive a formal interview). Nobody knows my name, they don't know my phone number. They've had expired 2 Liter Diet Pepsi out for sale for days, I brought it up numerous times, nobody seems to know what to do with it or care! I witnessed a female shift leader pulling hair out of somebodys bacon on a sub, wrap it up and hand it right to them. The sauce bottles don't get cleaned, only refilled so theres gunk caked under the lids. No wonder why customers are getting sick. Beyond that, the employees are constantly blaring their own music from behind the counter, talking and texting on their phones, flirting and talking about their sexlife when theyre married which is so beyond inappropriate especially for a workplace, and ignoring customers to do so. In my opinion DeAngelos has the BEST lobsta subs EVAH!! I have been thinking, well obsessing about DeAngelos because the Shark Tank lobster food truck is pretty popular here in Las Vegas. I was looking at the menu for this food truck and the $$$$$ for a THREE OUNCE lobster roll is roughly $18. DeAngelos is WAY, WAY, WAY MORE AWESOMELY BETTER on a DELICIOUSLY, SCRUMPTIOUS sub roll with even betta LOBSTA!! Even with a small size you get a LOT MORE than the Shark Tank lobster trucks puny 3 oz. lobster roll. I used to go once a month to the DeAngelos near Pease AFB after my Drs. appointment to bring home TWO, LARGE LOBSTA subs. Penny and the crew at the Portsmouth D'Angelo's came through for me once again this past Wednesday 6/30/2021. We had our first in person meeting since 3/21/20 which was great, we obviously had to feed our crew so what better place to go then Portsmouth D'Angelo's. I made contact with Penny and she set up perfectly. We ordered 3 of the catering boxes so we had plenty of variety and all the sandwiches were delicious and fresh.
