Dunkin' — Restaurant in Portsmouth

I've been this Dunkin Donuts on numerous occasions.. In fact, I used to work here.. I've had Great service to down right horrific service, and I've witnessed even worse service between employee to customer! Today, August 4th, I am sitting here with my children and we've ordered 2 bagels and 2 coffees. The coffees were great, (hence the 2 stars). The bagel I got woth veggie cream cheese was cold and chewy, and my son didn't care for the veggie CC. So I approached the counter to request a thing of plain CCA. The employee, who has not mustered 1 hint of a smile, along with the rest of the seemingly miserable employees, said "Sure, but you have ever to pay for it" When I asked for the amount, she says, " It's ONLY $1.09!" I said, "No thanks, I'm not paying $1.09 for a small thing of CC" and proceeded to walk away. She then sighed and said, "ok" with a huff.. As if I ridiculous.. Sitting g in the restaurant listening to the employees at the counter and the drive thru, none of them smiled, none of them greeted the customers with any sense of friendliness.. I've been in Customer service since I was 15 yes old. And I, of all people, know what it's like to have a bad day, especially at work. But the entire crew was miserable..!!! If U hate Ur job/career, U need to evaluate your life and figure out a new...

Really sad this Dunkins has gone downhill. I used to go every morning working right down the street. Even on mornings I was running late the service was fast and the coffee/food was excellent, as well as the customer service. Well I went here for the first time yesterday in a while, and was beyond disappointed. We sat at the drive thru for at least 5 minutes waiting for the young kid to take our order (there was 1 car up at the window). When he finally communicated with us he could hardly respond to us. After each item we ordered he responded with "Is that it?" (We ordered 3 drinks). After a painful time at the drive thru we got to the window, where we sat for an even longer time, and he had forgotten one of our drinks... this kid just seemed like we were inconveniencing him with the 3 drinks we ordered and we couldn't get out of his hair fast enough. Terrible customer service if you ask us. I sure hope he isn't making $15 an hour... We won't be bothering to come back to...

Have been going to this location about once a week on my way to Dover in the early morning. Over the last few months the staff has changed and not for the better. This morning the server was even less friendly than usual. The cases were empty at 5am and she had to go out back for the donuts. I heard someone else tell her "not those, they're the old ones." She gave me the old ones anyway. She treated every other customer as if it was an inconvenience to wait on them. Then, watch the attitude get worse if you don't tip for the poor service. In addition, the place was filthy. There were several spills that had not been cleaned up and obviously been there awhile. Everyone just walked by as if they didn't see the mess. The bottom of the donut cases were full of crumbs and debris and there were flies everywhere. I'm going to have to find a different location to get the proper service. It doesn't seem like this location wants...
