Great service, and atmosphere. Eaten here over the years once or twice a year. Yet wonder after this visit if they are going out of business soon based on it being able to even come close to putting enough sauce or cheese on the pizza. Ordered 4 toppings that would not even equal as much as one. Manager and waitress were great and offered a free flatbread on next visist but no thanks to prove my point as I told them I was not complaining because I wanted a freebie. Also not fair to eat the majority of it then complain and do not feel I could be taken seriously if I did that but we were hungry and ate it despite the lack of a tomatoe base, toppings we ordered or much flavor. Great pizza in the past but felt like they struggled to put anything on it to save the 50 cents by putting enough sauce on it or other ingredients. I left over 20 % tip as service and past meals were great. They use great ingredients and fresh and hope this is a one off and write this so if others see a large pizza but only 6" of it in the center gets them back to making great pizzas as used to be my favorite pizza place in Portsmouth. I would pay more for it as well but just want a large pizza with what I ordered on it. Hope this helps others get a great meal as they can do it right and friendly staff...

The best pizza, hands down. I’ve been coming to various Flatbread’s locations since I was a kid, and it’s still one of my favorite places. The Portsmouth location has extremely friendly staff, and consistently delicious pizza. The new manager Katie is really kind, she has come over to say hi and check on us every time we’ve come in. The pizza is always incredible, with very fresh ingredients. We miss the Jimmy’s free range chicken, but the specials are usually great. The drinks are very good, my favorite is their margarita made with fresh juice. To round out an already great meal, their desserts are awesome. They usually have a gingerbread sundae, and the brownie sundae is always a hit. With the coronavirus, flatbreads is the only restaurant we will do indoor dining at. They have gone above and beyond, adding barriers between booths, removing most tables from the middle of the restaurant where foot traffic is, frequent sanitizing, mandatory mask wearing when not at your table, etc. We so appreciate...

When I heard raving reviews about Flatbread, I knew I had to give it a try. After getting home and trying it out, I can easily say that I will never be back here again. I've attached a picture of what I found in my pizza after just a few bites. At first I wasn't sure what I found in my mouth, but upon further inspection I saw that it was a brush bristle. This thoroughly grossed me out and I immediately checked the other slices for more bristles. Sure enough after a few seconds of looking I found another lodged in the middle of the pizza. At this point I was definitely not finishing the pizza out of fear that there could be more bristles littered throughout. I'm assuming that this was left behind after cleaning the pizza oven, and must have fallen on my pizza while cooking. However this is still unacceptable and definitely not up to proper safety standards. Needless to say, I will definitely not be back to Flatbread because I just don't want to worry about accidentally eating leftover...

Visited a few weeks ago, ended up going back with friends on a number of occasions. #1 - Service...friendliest service we had in that particular area (Residence Inn (in the same area) front desk had a particularly unpleasant "operations manager", and the "BRGR BAR" next door to the hotel had a real winner of a bartender/server working on 2 visits we had (more because of proximity). Server at Flatbread Company seemed to have gotten a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests she needed to tend to - but to be fair, she appeared to be giving it her best. #2 - Food...Very Good. Enjoyed a couple of different pizzas on multiple visits. Fresh out of their hot earthen ovens and straight to the table. 3. Notes: i had to laugh when i looked at their pizza to-go box and noted that they have a location in Hawaii! Not that i'm on the same island, but i have been wanting to visit that part of Hawaii someday.
