Lisa's Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Love this local hangout. Food is consistently great everytime. It's all fried and bad for you so don't come here on a diet but if you want great wings, hot seasoned fries and fried fish for the LOW and a good drink to boot, come before 7 for the specials. They run some sort of special until 9 as well I think, drinks for sure, but the later it gets the harder it is to order food in a timely manner ON THE LOUNGE SIDE. You can always order food on the restaurant side to go and it might be faster. There is a dj, and the music as well as crowd is really mixed in age up until around 10. It's a really fun place to let your hair down and have a nice evening. I like the establishment, the food, drinks and music. However, me and my out of town guest had to eat on the restaurant side, due to lack of seating on the lounge side. The service was slow but the food was worth the wait. However, if a customer has spent money on the restaurant side, they should not have to pay cover to get into the lounge side. We entered Lisa's at 6:15 and didnt receive our food until 8:00 and the bill finally came @ 8:55. They should consider waiving the cover if you patron the restuarant side or allow access to the lounge from the restaurant side. I attended a birthday party on a Friday night and this lounge was lit--- I mean people every where drinking , talking , and dancing just having a good time ---

What impressed me the most is there was no sign of violence , arguing or nothing, just adults of all races having a good time ---

The food is GREAT here I eat wings, fish and shrimp , then got me a to go order to take home --- So you definitely want to eat when you attend this lounge---

Be prepared to pay $5 to park in the dirt lot or shopping center across the street and $10 to park on concrete in front of print shop next to the Lounge---
