Iâve eaten the wings, meatball appetizer (also a great as an entree for someone who prefers more protein), and the hot honey/pepperoni pizza. The pear pizza is great, too, but I prefer it without red sauce (theyâve been happy to customize it). My favorite dessert is the bourbon pecan pie. Itâs definitely bourbon forward, but balanced, with a tender crust.
Nothing on the menu is crazy expensive, and one person can eat for under $15 (minus tip). Of course, ordering an appetizer or two, a pizza, and drinks will run up the bill pretty quickly.
Several early reviews mention that food orders were taking a while to prepare. That was my experience, at first, though it was not extreme (and I wasnât in a hurry). Iâve also noticed, after several visits, that the timing has greatly improved. As recently as last week, the entrees for our party of seven were brought to our table at the same time, and the wait was not unreasonably long.
The atmosphere is casual and friendly, but slightly loud. One of the features is a miniature pin bowling area. Bowling is loud! So, if youâre looking for a quiet spot for dining, you wonât always find it here, especially when there is a heated game! Some sound deadening insulation on the ceilings wouldnât hurt, but most shouldnât find the noise unbearable.
This place is not a chain. It is locally owned, locally managed, with a skilled chef who has carefully curated an appealing menu....
Read moreLoved the food. The branding is awesome, and has a great esthetic. Downside to our experience there was not being communicated with on the bowling. We had 4 kids with us and the server never mentioned anything about how all that works, until I brought it upon myself to ask after the food got to us. The whole time there was only one side open to play, but it was being used (understandably), but what didn't make sense is the other side had a "reserved" sign in front of it that nobody ever showed up to or used the entire time we were there. Those didn't make much sense to me or the kids. Needless to say the kids left pretty upset about not getting to bowl, even after waiting 10 minutes after paying our bill. I'll let them work some kinks out...
Read moreI've been (impatiently) waiting for this place to open and it did not disappoint! We ordered two specialty pizzas for lunch and they were amazing. We got the wild mushroom (locally grown!!) and the artichoke pesto. We LOVE the vegetarian options that are sorely lacking in this atea. Our server was courteous and friendly and the atmosphere is really great too. This place is definitely among the top 3 best restaurants in Scioto county! The only slight slight disappointment was they were out of the scallops I wanted to try, but weâll be...
