I will NEVER, EVER, EVER patronize this store again!!! My coworkers and I normally place several orders here and pick them up with no problem. So yesterday, I ordered mine through the app while they placed an order by phone. This has been done several times in the past with no problem so it shouldn't have been an issue this time. Boy was I completely wrong. They come back and I have no smoothie and no food. No big deal to me because I would have run back out to get it. This is where things went downhill fast. My coworker tells me that he asked for my food first. I guess the manager or whoever grabs the receipt to place it by the register... PAUSE.... so I know this is a true practice of when someone goes in to pick up an online order so I believe him when he said they never gave him my order. Okay anywho... they looked at the receipt and went to go get the orders. Well my order never made it. I called the store and talked to the manager, Patel. He immediately starts repeating that it was their fault and they never asked for it and yada yada yada. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I simply asked for a refund because it was past lunch time and I wasn't going by there later. So he blabbed on and on about how he couldn't do a refund and all this other jazz. After back and forth he finally consented on giving me my money back on food I never got and didn't even want at this point because of his nastiness. So I called this morning to request a refund and this Patel guy gets downright nasty and tells me he is being nice on giving me my money back and has the unmitigated gall to tell me that it was my fault and next time I won't be getting a refund. LOL. He must not understand that I am the customer and I damn sure will never be going back to this store. NEVER...
Read moreLast night my boyfriend and I ordered a Santa Fe quesadilla and a Baja Chicken wrap. The girl at the register was very sweet, and put in our orders correctly and handled a line of about 8 people that came in right after us very well and made our smoothie great. However, my boyfriend threw his wrap away after 2 bites. He didn't even let me try it before it was in the trash; he said it was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. This was also the first time in my entire life that I've ordered a Sante Fe quesadilla and got stringy, half cooked, yellow (???) onions on it instead of roasted red onions. I physically could not finish it because the string onions weren't cut through (nor cooked) all the way, and attempting to pick up a single piece of the quesadilla resulted in picking up a piece of the tortilla alone and leaving the contents of it in the box. Not to mention it was already compressed into one corner of the box (but I know this can also happen from the way the box is carried and I've ordered quesadillas that came this way and I was still able to finish them). Read moreI have certain way that I like my smoothies. I like them extra sweet... If the staff would actually answer the phone when the customer calls, then the customer would be able to relay that message. Because no one answered, I had to take a chance on ordering through the app, just to receive a smoothie that tastes like frozen water... Actually, I take that back. Water literally has more flavor than what was in this smoothie. This may very well be the worst smoothie I've ever gotten from this location. To add more to my dissatisfaction, I had to stand at the counter and wait a couple minutes until someone actually acknowledged my presence... Didn't get so much as a "Hi! Welcome to Tropical Smoothie," or a "Hi! I'll be right with you." If it wasn't for them making 2 seconds worth of eye contact, just to turn around and go back to what they were doing, I'd swear out that I was invisible. This location is the closest to me in both house and work, but I guess I'll have to take a chance on driving further to different locations just to receive better service. 🫤 For a smoothie that costs almost 8 dollars now, when they used to be only $4 and some change, one would hope that the service would be worth the money you pay...
