Has the potential to be amazing. Unfortunately I get the feeling that most of the pies are pre-made frozen and then reheated. This may not be the case with all of them but my banana pudding was definitely not fresh and the bananas had most definitely been frozen or chilled too long and we're soggy and gross.

I also had the mushroom steak pie and it was amazing. The crust was definitely a little hard suggesting it was not fresh and well I know it wasn't fresh considering nothing was made to order.

I hope the pies are made first thing in the morning and not multiple days before service.

The mac and cheese had been sitting for I'm not sure how long But we were informed It was the only mac and cheese available unless we wanted to wait 20 to 30 minutes. But again I don't believe this was for a fresh pie to be made but for a frozen pie to be heated 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

Would like to add We did come later in the evening about 7:30 so it is possible we just got the end of the day kind of treatment. We will definitely be trying it again more in the afternoon and I will alter my review after that point 😁

If we get the same experience my rating will go down but I'm very hopeful that the pies will be fresher and hotter coming earlier in the day 🥰

Like I started my review definitely potential for...

I went to this restaurant with my family during their advertised "11 am - 3 pm lunch special" but was charged for the meat pies and soda individually. Since I wasn't given the lunch special, I won't be recommending this place. The owner/worker did seem sad and overworked, which could be why we weren't offered the special. Perhaps they're going through a tough financial time, but there's no excuse for not honoring advertised specials. They share the space with a clerical office, which makes it a bit strange. People not associated with the tiny restaurant space walk in and out all the time (and give strange looks). Maybe because we were latino gays. Pies were cold too. Not a good experience. I won’t recommend this place. Never...

Perhaps the most unfortunate and disappointing meat pies we have ever had, sadly. Yes, the experience was epic, as promised.... epically poor. 😐

This experience was roughly akin to what would result if a person from rural Ohio who had never left their county had meat pies from the Commonwealth described to them over a static-y trans-Atlantic phone call.

The pie shells were borderline raw, more akin to underdone tortillas. Which is a mystery, given that they were served on plates of a temperature in the neighborhood of 300° ... perhaps the staff are accidentally tossing the plates in the oven instead of the baked goods? 😬

Also their point-of-sale register doesn't work with modern...

Tasty savory pies. We had the Guiness Irish Stew (top), Cottage Pie (left/middle), and Classic Scottish with mash and gravy on top (bottom). I did the "Epic pie experience" so I also tried their chili. I'd say the best of the bunch was the Guiness Irish Stew. The chili was also very good. There's parking on the street across from the restaurant, and it has dine in as well as take out. The guy at the counter (Tony) was able to answer questions and was very helpful/friendly. Portions were fine since the food was savory. We'd come again.
