Terrible customer service, apparently customers don't matter here. First and last time I'll be ordering. I decided to try something different and chose Joseppi's. The pizza was OK. Nothing special. Also ordered a veggie sub, which was good. My hubby had the meatball Stromboli, such he said was delicious. As a first time customer... I walked in, went to the carryout counter and stood there with about 12 people in the kitchen, but no one could acknowledge me. The person cooking the pizzas came over without a smile, no hello, just a "name". She got my order, placed it on the counter and walked away. I had 4 items, 3 boxes. I was confused. I ordered "chips with a side of carolina gold". I thought they were the cooked chips, a side since it came with a sauce. They were just a regular single bag of chips which were placed in a stand on the counter. (Never got the sauce) My first time there, didn't know. Apparently, i was just to grab my own chips. I stood there for a second, thinking the person was going to grab the 4th item, the chips, especially since she didn't say anything to me when she put the pizzas on the counter and walked away. Another person came to the register, now they both look at me and said to grab your chips right there. Ok, i get it now. But as a first time customer, i didn't at first. Again, no conversation. No "thank you". No "here's your order". Nothing. I was totally an inconvenience to them. Sorry I ordered from you. So rude. If the owner/manager reads this... customer service goes a long way. Your pizzas are not great enough to have poor service....
Read moreWent in to place an order of wings — I have a wheat allergy, so I specifically checked and asked if their traditional wings were breaded or not, and was told no, so I went ahead and ordered. I was told the wait would be 10 minutes, which was pretty reasonable for a basic 10-piece wing order. I went across the plaza to Giant Eagle to kill time while I waited and ended up coming back closer to 20-25 minutes later. When I came in, I spoke to an employee in passing and let her know my name and that I was there to pick up. She acknowledged me, went to the kitchen (which you can see from the waiting area), and proceeded to go on about her business, leaving me there with no update for several minutes. I finally went up to the counter and checked with someone else, who told me they still had to put sauce on my wings. Not only did it take forever to get my wings (I ordered at 7:09, and left close to 7:50), when I got home, the wings were visibly breaded. I called to double check and was told (presumably by someone else) that all of their wings are breaded. After the wait and the misinformation, there was no apology, and to top it off, she expected me to make the drive back to the restaurant to return the food and have her try to process the refund (apparently the “big boss” wasn’t there and the waitress didn’t know how to do it for me).
Unfortunately I’m unable to speak to the quality of the food, but the quality of the service left much to be desired....
Read moreordered a 'Joseppis favorite" and They forgot to put the pepperoni on it. They had to make another one. That's forgivable one time. A few days later I went in and ordered the same thing. I told them I would be checking and when I did, the mushrooms were left out. I told them about it and they said that they were OUT of mushrooms.....!. So they knew that they were supposed to put on mushrooms and knew that they didn't but didn't say a word to me about it. They just handed me the box like everything was just fine. I had already paid so what was I going to do? This pizza was a 17" but the toppings didn't cover to the outside. So check to make sure all the toppings are there. Don't let them get away with shorting you on the toppings. Don't pay until you check your pizza. The only other thing I really hate is that they don't sort out the hard pieces from the pepper rings, which is just careless. It is sad because it is an expensive pizza. What is with the tables that are...
