Ok this Starbucks is usually fine, typical Starbucks with long waits lol. So it's nothing against them per say BUT it was our second time at a Starbucks today (first was at the Safeway location earlier this morning) n the system was completely down so the app wasn't working, it was a real bummer bc my daughter was not feeling good (ear ache etc) n really wanted a pink drink to cool her throat before n after finalsš„ŗ last time I was there the lady COMPLETELY forgot my friends drink till I said something 15 min later, but we're all human n forget so no biggie n she was super kind about it n gave him a card for a frew regular coffee on his next visit. I guess I give it 3 stars bc Starbucks is a little overrated to me? I get a Venti Iced Chai Tea Latte with soy n vanilla n it's $8! Plus a tip of course. For a TEA? That you wait FOREVER for whether you go in or use drive thru (bc btw for those of you that don't know, spoiler, they make the drinks in order whether you're in drive thru or inside, so if drive thru's backed up, technically so is insideš). So yes, they have a great variety of drinks that we somehow can't live without so we'll wait an hour n pay n arm n a leg𤣠I just bumped it up to a 4 star bc I remembered they also help with college tuition for their employees (rules n restrictions apply of course lol) n they also pay them decent wages so maybe that justifies the price of the drinksš¤ there's my novel! Hope you all enjoy...

I cannot express my dissapointment with Starbucks' new policy of being required to purchase an item in order to stay inside. Since 2018, they have had the "Open-Door Policy" which has been iconic for the business as it has always been an environment that appeals to students needing a place to study, entrepreneurs who need a business meeting spot, or being a pioneered place for a perfect coffee date. Starbucks has ironically, scholarship and employment benefits that target students. So this policy is just ridiculous in all matters of being serious.
I understand why this policy exists, for "Some" locations. But this isn't Phoenix. There are no homeless people squatting in the building for hours - crack addicts OD'ing in the bathroom...or crime being such a concern you would enforce this blatant anti-consumer policy.
I hope Starbucks recalls this policy ASAP. The ability to refuse service is more powerful than the ability to push away potential customers who you have no idea what their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went through the drive thru this morning and ordered a drink and food. When I got to the window I noticed the drink was a small when I asked for a large. The man at the window asked the guy to remake it into a large and he said loudly enough for me to hear "I asked her what she wanted!" and was clearly annoyed. The man at the window said that the manager was out today so "everyone's running a muck". I recieved the correct size but the drink was clearly made incorrectly when I tasted it. So I parked and walked inside, they asked what was wrong now and I explained that it didn't taste right. Blame was passed on from one barista to the next, I got dirty looks and eyes rolled. No apology to me for their unnecessary attitude or the inconvenience to me. The team's lack of professionalism as a whole clearly reflects the lack of management their store has. It was a truly disappointing experience but I hope they can learn from their mistakes and take care of their customers and treat others the way they would like...
