yesterday i went to dave’s coffee in providence rhode island and tried their special of the week - banana bread latte. it was amazing. i also got to try their strawberry matcha, blueberry coffee cake latte, and avocado toast. they all were soooo good. if you’re in providence / rhode island, don’t miss out on these yummy flavors!! #providenceri #icedcoffee #rhodeislandtiktok #matchalatte #rhodeisland #rhodeislandfood #pvd #ri #rhodeislandrestaurants #cafe #latte #matcha #coffee #rirestaurants #coffelover #rhody #icedlatte #foodreview #rifoodie

My boyfriend and I received a $50 gift card for Dave's this Christmas and were really disappointed to find out it didn't work in store, only online. We learned this news after ordering in store and attempting to use the card. Staff was very apologetic and informed us that we could contact corporate on the website and ask to have the card changed to in-store. They also gave us a discount on our order for the inconvenience. This was our first time visiting Dave's as we are only in the Providence area for 3 months. It is a very cute, open coffee shop with areas to plug in your laptop and do some work. After exchanging emails we were able to get our card changed and have since been back several times to try out the different drinks. Our two favorites are the coffee milk latte (with oat milk) and the bourbon latte. The staff are very friendly and there are large windows to people watch while you sip on your beverage of choice. They also have delicious looking breakfast foods, which was have not tried but on appearance look amazing. We have been to a few coffee shops in town and would highly recommend Dave's for ambiance, hours of opperation (7-7), great tasting options, and reasonable prices. TRY THE COFFEE MILK! I don't drink dairy and with the oat milk that stuff changed my life.

Stopped here on a whim, we were walking by and needed our caffeine fix. I love coffee shops so I was excited to check it out. I read after the fact that they make all natural, small batch, cold brewed coffee syrup that you can mix with milk to make coffee milk; a Rhode Island staple. They roast coffee beans in their 7000 sq ft roastery in Narragansett. There are two Dave's Coffee shops, one in Charlestown and one in Providence. Love supporting a small business, especially from my home state! I saw a sign right out on the sidewalk showing their specials. I had to try out their iced cardamom vanilla oat milk latte; that was perfect and I could've drank a whole gallon of it. Service was great and ambiance was that of a cozy coffee shop. The coffee was fresh and tasty. A great asset to have in RI.

Dave’s Coffee, a Rhode Island-based small-batch coffee roaster, has established a notable presence in the local coffee scene. With locations in Providence and Charlestown, they are renowned for their commitment to quality and community.

The Providence café, located at 341 South Main Street, operates daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The menu features a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and cold brews. Their signature item, Dave’s Original Rhode Island Coffee Milk Syrup, pays homage to the state’s official drink, coffee milk.

Customers can place orders online for pickup through their mobile ordering platform. The café’s interior is described as stylish, situated in a picturesque Providence neighborhood near the river and marina.

While the café has received positive feedback for its ambiance and beverage quality, there have been discussions regarding staff turnover and management practices.

In summary, Dave’s Coffee offers a quintessential Rhode Island coffee experience, blending local tradition with artisanal brewing methods. Their Providence location provides a welcoming environment for both locals and visitors to enjoy a quality...

I just wanted to come here to remind everyone of the what took place 5 months ago when Dave ignored the multiple instances of gender discrimination and sexual harassment that took place. For those local and even those visiting from out of town, Dave shut down his Providence location in March in retaliation to his employees speaking out about the discrimination and harassment. Management and Dave cut all of the staffs hours within 3 days notice and refused to raise prices or give any of the staff time to figure out schedule changes. When employees quit, Dave hired two new employees who worked for two days and then with no notice shut down the store and told the remaining employees to "go on unemployment". Dave posted on his window how this was an "exciting opportunity" to rebrand his shop and to "stay tuned" until he decided to open again on the day of Providence pride. So while you may see a lot of new positive reviews, keep in mind how Dave treats and has treated his employees in the past. If you still decide to support Dave's, just know that you are supporting a business that is anti trans and anti worker. The Providence community has not and...
