The most fun-loving establishment on Federal Hill. Jake the owner is kind enough to provide a wall of guitars a keyboard a set of drums and bongos for anyone that wants to use them plus the laptop for karaoke. The food is good the chef is a great guy. He takes pride in his work and make sure. He's always concerned to make sure the customer is satisfied even if it's just a slice of pizza. The staff is second to none. A special shout out To Nisper AKA NIPS. He's not just a bartender. He engages with his customers is truly interested in their stories and has great stories himself. Just an all-around great guy and an entertainer in his own right that cares about people. Not sure what happened why the entertainment got shut down I mean that's your bread and butter jake. I say the many musicians that go there in a very safe atmosphere I couldn't imagine anybody even getting an argument let alone a fight. You can go outside for a while and leave your gear you can even leave your wallet out on the table and no one would mess with. The people that congregate there are fun-loving honest musicians. Nothing but good vibes from good people in and out of the doors of Jake and Johnny's restaurant in live entertainment. Thank you Jake and Johnny's I've had so many good times there. After living in Austin, Texas, for the last four years, and really missing the music scene, I found JJ’s last April. This bar has been my saving grace in the middle of a city, where the music and nightlife has clearly died down post-Covid. I can assure you that I have known Amanda little over 15 years. She has worked at numerous bars throughout the city, and is very well respected in this city’s service industry. I stumbled upon this bar after moving home from Texas, and me of the reasons I keep going back is because Amanda is behind the bar. This place has been a safe haven for musicians and music lovers, not because of the four walls that surround it, but because of the people who occupy it.
