I would like to understand how it is ok, to not PAY the employees (Because the part owner Hercília-does not like to do payroll) on time and hold CASH tips, and only give it to the employees every two week-which belong to the EMPLOYEES as they are earned money by the customers and NOT THE EMPLOYER. Employee work 8 hours and are not allowed BREAKS. A Part investor of the Business, photographer so call “Mae Gammino”came in to belittle my SON and tells him to come down “Misses” because he is Gay!!!! It’s called Discrimination as a reported you should know the law! And the context of that was he was sweeping and saw her come in. Approached her to see if he could help her!! Yes, MAE!! he was going to WASHS his hands!!!!!!!! Before assisting you! I am proud of HIM for telling you he didn’t care who you ARE! You hold no merits on my son none at all. Shame on you and those who stood behind it. I raised my sons to be respectful but NO PUSHING BAG. YOU may write a few articles or take a few pictures ( one of many who do the same) Yet you think you can mock someone and disrespect them!!! ( and maybe you get away with it) Had you been smart- you would have waited to see the outcome and if need be BIG the bigger person to correct!! THAT’S how you LEAD! Question for you MAE:DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM??? HIS MOTHER - you just don’t do that- period! He raised the issues via email which by the way I have the email. AND He was LET go today! Please note today is June 19, 2024 and has NOT gotten paid. Started either 1st week or 2nd of May. Yes you gave him two advances- thank you. Are you serious!!! How do you all sleep well at night. I will tell you this I will encourage my son to seek legal advice.
Not convenient when someone speaks up for the right and wrong! Right?
And to the customers- kindness goes a long way. Special for the lady you loves her extra cannoli cream. Smh.

Stopped by for some post-meal sweets. The shop didn’t have a massive selection, but every pastry on display looked enticing—croissants, tarts, Basque cheesecakes, eclairs, and more. It was a touch choice, and we eventually settled on a sweet cream-filled croissant, a plain croissant, an apple tart, and a few mini eclairs.
Everything we tried was great, but the standout for me was the sweet cream-filled raspberry croissant with strawberry filling. The cream had a light, airy texture and wasn’t overly sweet, while the croissant’s slightly denser layers gave each bite a satisfying contrast to the creamy center. It brought back fond memories of strawberry-and-cream croissants from my childhood—a true nostalgia bite done right.
They also nailed the basics with the plain croissant. While it wasn’t as buttery and flaky as a French croissant, the pillowy interior made up for it. Plus, it turned out to be the perfect vehicle for scooping up leftover cream from the other pastries.
if you’re into creamy pastries and croissants, I highly recommend giving this...
Read moreCute, quaint, and hopefully here to stay forever. You can see pastry chef Sergio working hard on all of the pastries in this bustling shop through a window into his kitchen; making his craft the center of the show. Adriana, the manager, is the sweetest and is always so helpful when deciding what to get. These are some of the best pastries and espresso in the city. One bite and you’ll feel like you’re in Europe. Love the apple tart and citrus tart amongst other things. They have quite a decent amount of gluten free options as well as the best chocolate chip cookie (not gluten free but so delicious). This is how Europeans eat breakfast and lunch. Don’t cheat yourself this experience. When it’s warm they open the front windows adding to the experience. Trust me, you’ll be...
