Varsity Luxury Sports Bar — Restaurant in Providence

I came to Varsity for a quick drink or two this past Thursday, upon entry I received a warm greeting by the server Kiara who sat me at the bar and gave me a water, a menu and provided a few drink recommendations before introducing me to my bartender for the night. Kiara’s recommendations were all A1, one drink became a few as the bartender Izzy did not disappoint, she was very friendly/personable and every cocktail I had was a hit, her espresso martini was immaculate, froth to perfection. The music wasn’t overbearing and complemented the atmosphere. Kiara and Izzy checked on me periodically to make sure I was doing good and it was appreciated. Defiantly would come back after receiving such hospitable service and delicious drinks. Side note I want to highlight another staff member Angel, he was always on go, helping he team members and attending to other patrons outside of myself....

Wanted to check this place out for the NCAA Men’s games on Saturday and was definitely impressed. Pulled up to the valet and they were fast and friend. Not having a valet on Fed Hill should be a crime. We had a reservation and they gave us great central seats for the game. Servers were prompt and polite. Gave us some recommendation. As far as drinks go, the mixologist is doing their thing. I had the Lombardi (all the drinks are sports themed). So good and light. Food was solid we had some apps and sandwiches. Love the fries. The drinks were flowing but what’s best about this place is the atmosphere. Bartenders laughing with customers, people were friendly asking us what we were having. Was here for a birthday weekend trip and came across this downtown area. The loud music/playlist definitely caught our attention. Hence this place was a first choice for brunch/lunch. We were there cinco de mayo week. Place was super cute, service was great. Food was seasoned ! Drinks was good too. Definitely will be back for the dinner menu. Originally was going to order dinner but kitchen cooks meals based of the day and time. They had options like jerk chicken , Rasta pasta and etc. Mouth watering just thinking about it. Wish they had hookah only reason...
