This restaurant was recommended to my son and I during my stay in PTown. Called on a Sunday night and did get a table for 8:30.

Locally sourced from Boston North end hand made noodles and sausage. Our waitress during the meal did not rush us and brought our food in course as we ordered Salad and an appetizer. Each had a main course and dessert and coffee.

During the meal our waitress shared that she has been there 20 years and that even at 17 years of service she had been considered the new kids on the block. This is a testament to the owner/chef and the loyalty of her staff. In a day and age where most employees chase the buck, my assumption is the owner provided a great work environment and consistent high standards that not only kept the doors open but allowed not only the restaurant to thrive but also kept the staff there.

Our server assured us that the quality and lever of detail does not change and that if we come back in 5 years it will be the same.

Much respect to the staff, chef and owner of front street to provide my son and I such a wonderful experience.

For our meal the bill was just north of 100 dollars. Note we don’t drink which helps the bill. But as a person who has had many many good / great meal in my life, I can say with confidence this meal was in my top 5.

I highly suggest you take a moment and seek this place out when you are in Ptown. I agree with the locals, a restaurant in business for 40 years serving this quality of food is worth...

This was by far the worst experience my boyfriend and I have ever had!!! This was my first time to ptown and I enjoyed every moment expect the dinner I had my last night there. My boyfriend and I were very impressed by the menu and really wanted to try it out. When I called, the hostess told me that they were all booked. An hour after I called my boyfriend and I decided to walk in and check to see if we could get a table or sit by the bar. Long story short the hostess was able to squeeze us in. Great!! Or so we thought, the server which was about 65 years old took 20 mins just to bring us bread and water. Then another 30 mins to get our order down. I had to keep chasing her down to for just about everything. It was constant aggression throughout the night. I understand it was busy but I've worked in much busier restaurants and this was totally unacceptable service. Either this 65 year old lady needs to retire or she needs to come down to Providence,Rhode Island and see how...

If I was able to leave 0 stars, I would. Terrible customer service by the waitress. Was given a menu prior to coming inside the restaurant by a staff member. Upon deciding to eat there and ordering, I picked a meal that was apparently only a “to go food item” and not a sit down item. My significant other ordered the shrimp scampi, which was an acceptable “dine in” meal. Think about that, if they really wanted to they could have made the “to go item only” entree and just gave it to us for a sit down as it was going to have to be made regardless if we ate it there or got it to go. Wouldn’t you think a restaurant would be willing to make an exception for something so little and that had such an easy resolution? Instead, the waitress was rude and said “no we can’t do this” and didn’t offer to even ask a manager or chef if this could be done. Its a shame you try to go out and support a local business during COVID to only get shut down when...

It has been seven years since my last visit to this establishment, and I am pleased to see it has endured the challenges of the pandemic, unlike some other businesses in town. The ambiance still retains a welcoming warmth, and I believe the quality of the food has improved since my previous visit. We began with stuffed zucchini flowers, which were quickly devoured. I also ordered the arancini, and the portion size was just right. They were delightfully crispy on the outside and wonderfully moist and cheesy on the inside. For my main course, I selected the vongole, and the portion of clams was quite generous. * However, the watermelon margarita was not to my liking. As a resident of Jalisco, I have a discerning palate for margaritas. It could have benefited from a more generous amount of fresh watermelon juice and a salted rim.

First let's say the reservation process is fabulous. They called within a few minutes of putting in the reservation request and got us handled quickly. While the inside of the restaurant was beautiful, we opted to sit outside and enjoy the music being played on the street. The food was excellent. And bravo to the server for helping guide us to the best options. We got arancini special, blue cheese Wedge Salad, Shrimp Tetrazzini, and Chicken Saltimbocca. Every dish was wonderful. And even though I saw complaints listed, I found them unfounded. Though it wasn't super fast, I will note the restaurant was full when we arrived, so they did wonderful for being maxed out.
