They need a cook!!! The food was horrible. Soggy hasbrowns. The omelette wasn't an omelette. Steak was kind of shewy. Service was excellent. Very sweet and friendly server. But the cook doesn't know how to cook. They need to hire a cook ASAP. I wasn't charged for the breakfast, but wanted to pay for it. I chose the place, but it was the worst. Really bad experience.

This place is phenomenal. Authentic. Delicious. I could go on for hours. The lady was sweet as could be. Limited English so be polite when you come here. But you must come here. Crepes were outstanding. Breakfast burritos were out of this world. One of the best places we've ever eaten and the place was extremely clean as well.

When my favorite Latin restaurant in Melrose Park closed its doors permanently I had to find another restaurant in Melrose Park that is just as good if not better. I don't live in Melrose Park, but I make the drive to Cafe Sol for several reasons. The food is fresh, flavorful, seasoned to perfection and very good. Great food for a great price, but what makes it something special is the atmosphere. The space breathes of peace and tranquility. The music and the colors all pull the room together along with the decorations and trinkets on the counters and walls. Truly a relaxing experience to have a meal here. Will definitely recommend to anyone seeking a place to get good food at...
