Located on Harlem Ave and Madison Street in Forest Park, IL, Parky's Hot Dogs isn't just a spot for great food – it's a local institution cherished by generations. My family has been coming here for years, starting with my grandparents, then my parents and now us - it never disappoints.

Parky's offers a mouthwatering selection of homemade comfort food, from their signature hot dogs to hearty hamburgers and flavorful beef sandwiches. And let's not forget about their pepper and egg sandwich – it's a must-try! But what truly sets Parky's apart are their amazing French fries – hand-cut, fried to order, and seasoned to perfection. They're simply irresistible!

What's more, Parky's prices are as reasonable as ever, making it accessible to all. While they prefer cash, the value you get for your money is unbeatable. And if you're short on time, just give them a call ahead of your visit for a quick pick-up.

While Parky's is carry-out only, they've got a cozy outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your meal in the fresh air.

In summary, Parky's Hot Dogs isn't just a place to grab a bite – it's a beloved local favorite that's stood the test of time. With delicious food, friendly service, and a rich history, it's no wonder why generations of Forest Park residents keep coming back for more. Make sure to get an order of their fries, you...

This is a favorite place of my youth. Parky's hot dogs since I was a child. My parents went to the one that was on Roosevelt road since they were in high school. This is decades of visits across 4 generations. The service is no-nonsense Chicago style. You order, you pay, you step aside when there is a long line, so not a place to chit chat with staff. Efficiency is key. If you are from the area, this normal. The atmosphere is perfect, as in, this is still Parky's. I love it. If you want new, fresh, stylish atmosphere, this is not the place. You do have some tables outside. There is no seating inside. Think of this as a concession stand at your kids baseball game. You go to the window, you order, you take your food over to the stands. Parky's is the same, except you get to be inside while ordering. The fries are fantastic, if you've had them all your life. Some would say they are too greasy. But to us, that's part of the charm. They still put the fries in the bottom of a paper lunch sack, then put the paper wrapped Dog in the bag on top of the fries. Give this one a try. You just might find a...

The cashier was very rude and prejudice all because my 6 year old daughter left her face mask in the car and I didn’t notice until after we were inside of the restaurant she told me to make her stand outside until I was finished and I asked her why would I make my 6 year old to stand outside and she told me that she was old enough she also called me ignorant and I told her do not call me ignorant and I asked did she know the meaning of ignorant because it means I’m lacking of knowledge basically you’re saying I’m uneducated she then told me she was calling the police and that she have my license plates number. There food is very good but I will never recommend anyone to buy anything from them due to the horrible customer service of the cashier that claims she’s the manager. If I could rate them with 0 stars I would due to the...

Now serving ketchup! Haha, well this is definitely an eclectic location with strange food, but what do you expect from a triangle shaped building? They don't put prices on the menu anymore and it's cash only. ($23 for 1 hot dog, 1 Italian beef, 2 shakes, and 2 fries) The all-beef hot dog is available upon request and was alright. Shakes were interesting, they offer a cherry flavored one that is likely made with Maraschino syrup. The chocolate shake was a bit weird too, not quite malted and not quite plain chocolate. All in all it was a unique Chicago-land experience.
