Kiwi Tu Meke Bites - New Zealand Meat Pies — Restaurant in Provo

My girlfriend and I were walking down the street to grab some ice cream and noticed Kiwi Tu Meke Bites had just opened, so we decided to give it a try. They serve New Zealand meat pies, and man, they were incredible. We got the mince, mince and cheese, steak and cheese, and butter chicken pies, and every one of them was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.

The service was top notch. The staff were friendly and made us feel like regulars and family on our first visit. You can tell they care about what they’re doing.

Tastes like home! As a Kiwi expat of 20 years, I am so excited to be this close to a cafe that serves authentic and tasty pastries like the dairy or petrol stations back home! I had the Steak and Cheese pie (classic!), as well as the Butter Chicken pie. Both were perfectly warm and well seasoned. The thicker, more stable pastry in the bottom and flaky puff pastry on top.
