The chef was very playful and he created delicious food right in front of us on the grill. Our dinners included soup and salad as well as our entrée.

I usually love this place and my family eats here at least once a month, but after tonight’s service we won’t be returning! Tonight I ordered two Philly rolls as I usually do, but two pieces in I realized something tasted really gross. It was a sour, rotten taste. I’m not one to send food back lightly, so I tried eating two more soaked in soy sauce and ginger with no luck, and then had my husband try one to make sure I wasn’t crazy. He quickly agreed it tasted bad. I alerted the waitress, who brought my roll back to the chef to let them know. About two minutes later an angry sushi chef walked out throwing a fit that I had already eaten one roll and rudely told me he would not do anything for me. I tried to explain why I had eaten a roll, and that I sent it back because it was too gross to eat the rest. He stormed off. When the check came out and the waitress asked how everything was, I told her I would like the charge removed from our bill. She went back, and a second angry chef or manager came out and was also extremely rude and dismissive. He even tried to blame my soy sauce for the taste (I always bring my own because I’m allergic to wheat which most soy sauce contains). As I explained that, he held his hand up and walked away shaking his head.

Just to note - the hibachi chef was awesome and the waitresses were extremely gracious, but I could not believe how rude the managers and/or chefs were! I probably would have even accepted the policy that they wouldn’t do anything since I had eaten one of the rolls if they had just spoken to me with a little courtesy and not come out acting offended and defensive that their roll...

Kyoto was so amazing. The service is so nice everyone is so kind it's like my family. The food is delicious and we'll cook and the shows are nicely done. The tables and restaurant's overall design and look is so cool and makes me feel like I'm in Japan which is amazing and genius. The sushi is even great too! Not many areas have sushi bars so I recommend checking them out because this place is really good. I'm not just advertising them I'm being serious they really are good. The service and food is great and the environment makes you feel welcome and home-like. It's fantastic, I highly recommend checking them out because a lot of time went into the beauty of the whole building and I hear they are working on adding in even more fun aspects like karoke and so on its really good. I love this restaurant and I highly recommend you check them out because they are worth it. Don't think about the bad reviews from other people they dont know what they are talking about if they think that this restaurant in anyway has bad service. I'm sorry but I just don't think that those kind of people can tear this restaurant down especially when it doesn't deserve it. The manager is named Tom and he is very sweet and understanding of his customers it's like he sees them as friend how friendlier can he be? This restaurant is great and I hope you all give it a chance, ignore the bad reviews because that's not the...

When my friend invited us to eat here we all assumed that the food and service is going to be good like it was in the evening time. I'm sorry to say that the afternoon Staffing was very disappointing. To be brief, we had issue with a couple of things. The waitress messed up buy Sushi order and brought me twice the number of rolls that I wanted. When we expressed concern about this the sushi chef came to our table and rudely asked what he was supposed to do with the extra rolls. I told them that I was not going to pay for the extras since they had messed up the order. The Spy that they serve my wife was very flat but that didn't seem worth bringing up so we didn't. The sushi rolls themselves seemed a bit soggy and weren't as good as the other sushi places in town. The Hibachi that my friend got was overcooked. They asked for rare and it came back well done. After I exchange with the sushi chef, the waitress was visibly angry for the rest of our stay and stayed clear of bus until it was time to bring the check. I might be willing to go back in the evening time with different Staffing since I've heard good things about this place before but at this point I'm more likely not to go...
