It was ok. I was honestly expecting more from such a highly rated restaurant.
The good: Chicken was good but nothing special. The batter was thin and crispy and well seasoned but it doesn't seem that they marinate the tenders in anything.
The server was kind and tried to help with the confusing menu.
The garlic Parm sauce was by far the best.
Went at an off hour but the service was pretty quick ~10min to get our food
The bad: The menu is different depending where you look. The online menu is different from the in store menu. Then there is another menu at the counter that is different from both the menu online and the menu on the big screens in the line. Super confusing.
I got 2 orders of fries that were cooked completely different. One was super undercooked and soggy and the other batch was just ok.
The ranch was hidden valley, and the buffalo was franks red hot. I love hidden valley and Frank's but put that in the name on the menu. When I go to a chicken place with sauces I expect homemade sauces so I was disappointed when I got franks and hidden valley.

Read moreAlicia and Alic were friendly and helpful with our decision making. They were excited about all of the menu items. The chickpea salad is fresh with delicious vegetables and dressing. The macaroni salad is very creamy with a refreshing change from traditional versions. This version has a touch of spice for a slight back ground note, the shreds of cheese partner the macaroni well. The sauce does a great job bringing all of the ingredients together. The macaroni bites sounded too good to pass up, and boy did they supercede expectations. Lots of different refreshments to wash your meal down. The chicken has a delicious well seasoned, buttery bite. The chicken is moist and delicious making you want more. I recommend the garlic parmesan, and honey mustard dip. Very delicious. The Musso sandwich comes with two thighs, with lettuce, Musso chili, onion, a fantastic sauce, on a soft seeded bun. The strawberry cream cheese pies are a fantastic treat to finish off the meal. We were very pleased with the meal, staff interaction, the quality and quantity of the food. Great place to go. Happy to have...
Read moreA cool new restaurant in Pueblo, Chicks is a good option if youâre in the mood for chicken. Iâve been a couple of times, and have tried their Musso Chili sandwich and their hot honey slaw sliders. I enjoyed both, although the sliders felt a bit rushed (buns were not warmed/toasted and they werenât separated, so all three buns were still connected and had to be torn apart, along with the chicken inside of them). Regardless, the taste was great, and the fries were pretty good as well. My favorite part of the sliders was definitely the coleslaw, and during my second visit they offered free samples of the slaw and their chickpea salad! Both were great. Additionally, they have a few other options for sides, including Mac and Cheese bites which I am eager to try.
The service has been excellent and fast for me, especially considering they were pretty busy for my second visit. I do think the decor is trying a little too hard to be trendy, but I canât fault a business for trying to keep with the times. All in all, Chicks is a great option and Iâll definitely be returning for...
