Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Pueblo

Having to edit this review after this mornings experience. I came in today and was treated so bad by the most annoying person they could of put at the front. Where did the sweet happy ladies go that use to make this place so amazing?!?! From the moment i came in she had a major attitude and couldnt even figure out what a white sprinkled donut was. Then caught an attitude when i tried to order a roll after refusing the house special. I gave her 20 in cash and paid 6 something on my card. She then tried to double charge my card for the 6 and some change (which included a tip that i now wish i never gave) after refusing to stay there while i charged my card. When I refused to pay twice she decides to go get the manager who saw her employee is not smart enough to do her job. I told the rude lady go ahead and get whoever because I'm not paying again after it already said approved and printed a new receipt. The manager came out of the back and looked at the receipts and said you're good thank you. When I got to my car sure enough the 6 and change had already processed on my card. I already deal with social anxiety and she chose to not only embarrass me but treat me like I didn't pay. I hope they don't keep this person at the front since she obviously has horrible/no customer service skills. Even the men before and after me were treated rude. I use to bring my kids here every other Sunday but I think we are done with that. I'd rather go down the road and be treated like they appreciate our a service. I was excited based off the reviews and pictures here to try this place. It’s much closer than my usual place and with such good reviews I figured it’d be worth a shot.

I suppose everyone has their own preferences about doughnuts because I didn’t like these at all. They taste like old Walmart or Albertsons doughnuts. Pretty dry and they have an odd generic brand taste. Additionally I feel like the price was no where near worth the quality. We went in earlier in the morning so I feel they should’ve still been pretty fresh.

I got a variety of doughnuts so I could try different ones. That may by what brought up the cost for the dozen I received however at Schusters and the doughnut shop next to south side Walmart (it’s connected to a Mexican food fast food joint) I can get WAY more for my buck even if I get different kinds and their doughnuts are soft...

I’m a truck Driver I got off the road and was heading home to my family and stopped in for a dozen of cinnamon twist before I hit the road to head home drove 120 miles home to find out it wasn’t what I ordered called in spoke to sherry and she was real nice and told me next time in town I could get a remake.
