Read moreWhere should i begin? Dont get fooled with the ambiance. If Google allows me to give a -1 star I wouldn't mind. It started before going in. The waitress told us there's a 15-20 min wait. After 15 min she told us another 20 min wait. After those 20 min, we had to wait 25 more minutes to get a table. That's step 1 Then, before sitting the waitress told us " i have bad news" that there will be another 45 min for the food to arrive because they were packed. We said we will wait specially that they had a band playing music. And we ordered drinks. The 45 min turned into another 1 hr and 15 min and yes, after 2 hrs we had our food. A total of 3 hrs wait. The customer service is worse! When I told the waiter that she told us 45 min and it's more than 2 hrs we are waiting, instead of being apologetic she frowned upon me! During those 2 hrs wait, not a single employee came to tell us "we apologize but we have a shortage or some excuse...." they even lacked some courtesy. This is all for the service. Coming to the food now! After waiting 3 hrs in total you would expect that the food will be amazing! Well guess what, it was below average or shall I say poor. I ordered the lobster mofongo! The mofongo was tasteless and very dry (I have tried mofongo all over puerto rico from the east-west, north-south) and this was the worst. The lobster was overcooked to the extent that it had become rubbery! Even to bring the bill it took forever! For the long hours of wait, I counted the tables and the whole restaurant had 25 tables with 6 waiters serving. So it is a very regular small restaurant and its surprising how everyone was getting their food after 1 hr a minimum or that's what they said! Overall bad customer service, very rude employees and below average food. The only good thing about this restaurant was the band that was playing. They...
Read moreI am highly disappointed and angry. My girls and I came there for dinner. We had just came from ATV riding. We’re tourist and had a great time eating at the different restaurants in Puerto Rico. We were racially targeted and it’s so sad seeing that Puerto rico is mixed. I returned an appetizer I ordered because I did not like how it tasted. The way the server explained it to me was different from what it tasted. I was going to get more drinks in exchange. The restaurant manager told the server to tell me I can’t take it off the bill. I felt like they were trying to bully me into getting a different appetizer. I didn’t want no other appetizer cause my main dish was going to be done soon. My girls had ordered appetizers as well. I ate a bit of it. After they insist I pay for it seeing I only took 1 piece of it. Then I said ok that’s fine I won’t have the main dish and I’ll just pay for the appetizer and drink I had. I asked to speak to the manager and instead of her coming. She sends the server instead. He said we had to pay for what we got already and to cancel the main dish that my girls ordered and leave. I’ve NEVER experienced something like this and I’m so offended and disappointed. This is our last day in Puerto Rico and this restaurant left a horrible taste in my mouth. We’ve ate at many other restaurant and the service was amazing. That manager has HORRIBLE customer service. She had us leave for a $8 appetizer in which we were spending so much more than that. That’s the worst customer service when it comes to hospitality. Puerto Rico was still an amazing place even though the experience at...
