Thai Ginger - five stars! One of my favorite restaurants in the area is Thai Ginger. The reason for this is because there are so many restaurants who don't actually serve genuine Thai. Thai Ginger achieves this challenge because they conform to the customers requests. Many restaurants in the Palouse region do not make my food spicy enough so I decided to go to Thai Ginger and I asked them to give me a real Five Star level of heat to my food. They added spice to my food and was able to make it taste wonderful. Their squid is absolutely delicious - it truly is something when you add the flavor of squid to tom yum soup. The spring rolls we had we're all so great. Another time I went here I had ordered pad Thai. My dad who loves cooking lived in Sri Lanka (south of India) for a time in his life so he knows how Pad Thai Taste in the actual culture. My dad said that the pad Thai taste just like it does in the home country which is amazing for a Thai restaurant in America to do. The flavors were exquisite - lime, chilies, egg, noodles, and Seasonings I can't put my finger on. The first time I ever went to here I ordered rice and curry with lamb meat. This was another dish that tasted just like it did in the Homeland. Their appetizers are scrumptious and don't disappoint. I don't know how they cook the food here, but it's amazing.

The atmosphere is nice, usually quiet, and has a wonderful temperature. The employees are respectful and constantly ask if you are enjoying your meal or if there's anything you need. Wonderful customer service - they're one of the best in the area. You can order to go if you want to here - sometimes I am in a rush and I find it necessary however when I get home, it's just as delicious as it is here so it's not just atmosphere. You don't have to wait very long at all to get a table. The restaurant is very sanitary, the presentation is gorgeous, and the service is superb. Five stars for such a wonderful...

My boyfriend went here for a school function one time and really enjoyed so we decided to give it a try. Not only did we wait in the front for well over 10 minutes, once we were seated she didn't check on us for another 10 minutes. After we politely (and yes actually politely) asked her to come over when she had a moment she quickly returned with two waters and took our order. Once she left I tasted my water only to find it out has salt in it! My boyfriend tasted his and it too had table salt in it. He went up to the front to ask to cancel our order and the lady starred at him the whole way he was walking up to the front. Once he reached her she ushered her way into the kitchen and pushed our what appeared to be her daughter to deal with him. I do not recommend this place because it was such an odd response to asking someone to do their job. Also they were not busy (maybe 5 tables were full) and it took her a long time to seat us and even get our drink water! I heard it was hit and miss with this place but the salt water really weirded me out enough that I will...

We stopped I'm here on a trip. The restaurant was dimly lit, a little dated inside. But quiet, and somewhat private with dividers between booths. Service was adequate, without being pushy or over attentive. We ordered pad Thai, and pineapple fried rice. Average price compared to other restaurants, but giant portions which I really can appreciate. I prefer large portions so I have some left overs to take home, and was not disappointed. The pad thai had a good flavor. The pineapple fried rice was a bit bland, but plenty of pineapple which is why I buy it. Alot of restaurants only put a few pieces of pineapple in pineapple fried rice. This is not one of those restaurants. Just wish it had a little more flavor in the rice. Overall a mediocre experience. If I am in town I may return, or try...

Ordered the sizzling 1/2 duck. It came out all chopped up and excessively dry. Like a dried up piece of liver. The manager came to the table and said if I don’t pay him, he can’t pay for food. He says they order the food already cooked in bags and they reheat it to serve it. They have no control of how well done the food is since they don’t make it. He refuses to remake an order for me, he refused to take it off my bill and told me I have to pay or he doesn’t get paid. This place is GROSS!!!! 🤮 let alone the horrible service! 25.99 for this plate.

By far the best Pad Thai in the whole Palouse area. I’ve tried at least 5 different Pad Thai and this takes the cake no question. Great portion, good peanut flavor along woth the peanuts on the side. Lovely touch with a full 1/5th of a lemon to squeeze over and very crunchy and fresh mung bean sprouts. Swrvice was very efficient and friendly for takeout order. Was ready 15 minutes after I called. Thank you everyone at Thai Ginger! Had to dig in before the picture but presentation was lovely I assure you all.
