"Fresco " ice cream - Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Punta Gorda

This is a hard review for me. I love the exterior...it is so cute. However, the coffee is awful. I'm sorry, but if you're saying you're authentically Italian and you can't even make an espresso. The coffee is so bad, it should be fined. I've tried it four times now- each time getting a different drink and hoping it would be better. NOPE. The chocolate croissants are delicous, unless you get the girl that burns them when she heats them up and then YUCK...it tasted so bad, I wanted a refund, but I kept my mouth shut. They need to invest in a espresso machine and serve some good coffee. Also get rid of the pasta and cookies in boxes...weird decorations and noone is...

My sister and I tried this place today. We were extremely impressed. We got the strawberry gelato and the lemon gelato, they were very creamy and the flavors were phenomenal. Easily the best gelato we’ve ever had. I also tried an organic mango smoothie and it was fresh and delicious.

We got a piece of chocolate mousse cake to go, and it was so rich. We also got a mixed berry cheesecake to go and it was super creamy and good.

Punta Gorda, FL. Stopped by for the first time. Yummy 😋 Gelato and filled croissants, and more. Found out the owners are from Italy 🇮🇹 They also own the pizza restaurant next door. Cute house.
