Beware of getting any special orders from here, our experience was awful. We placed a special order for a cake with black frosting for an event and on the morning of the event when picking it up we received a light grey frosted cake. We were extremely disappointed but hoped that since this is supposed to be a professional bakery the actual cake part would at least be correct and fresh, but no it unfortunately wasn’t, we didn’t get any part of what we ordered. Some of the comments from our guests about the cake were flavorless, dry and completely not worth what you paid.

Lindsey and the team showed up! Called ahead to have a black two-tiered cake and cupcakes made for my wife's "Death to Her 20's" party. Lindsey worked with me in having a vision come to life, and even gave us gluten free options for those more sensitive to that! Pictures do NOT do the artistry of these things justice. And, the cake/cupcakes were DELICIOUS. My wife loves strawberry shortcake, and that was what we exactly got. Do not sleep on Leona's, a small town bakery with big flavor! Thank you all for making this party one to be talked about for years to come. 🎂

Everything about this place is amazing. The bakery is delectable, the staff is friendly, and the place is beautiful. I've had the honor of trying a specialty cake for my son's birthday, and many of the different cookies and breads they offer. I cannot wait to try their pies at Christmas. Wanted to make some incredible sandwiches, so I knew I needed good bread. I called to see if they sold bread, and yes, they had a few different kinds. I bought 3 loaves so I could try a little of everything. Very fair pricing for freshly-made bread from a local small business.

Then the true test. Gotta eat some bread...Man, very good bread! Sliced some sourdough, toasted it up, and with a little touch of butter...so crispy, fresh, perfect. Used the baguette for my veggie cubano. Loaded with veggies, popped it in the oven for 10 minutes. The bread truly made it sing. Such a beautiful, fresh bread, delicious crust. So good.

Met the owner while there. Kind woman, friendly, happy to sell a joe like me a little bread. The place seemed like a beautiful spot to sneak away for a midday cup of coffee and one of the great-looking treats from their sweets section. Somebody brought me one of their cupcakes the other day, and really it was great. The frosting was light and fresh, but plentiful.
