This used to be my favorite place to come to for at least 5 years. In the last year I’ve seen a significant decline of their food, service and cleanliness here. I kept telling myself maybe it was just one bad meal because I really love this place. They’ve cut back on portions, I’ve found hair in my food and water dishes, their fresh rolls are half the size they used to be and aren’t served with peanut sauce anymore. Their golden cups quality has gone downhill and size of the Pad See Ew is so much smaller. Service is rough, they barely come back to your table and check in or rarely are greeted with a hello. I spilled some water on myself and the seat and nobody came around to ask if we needed anything until the server came over and put the check on our table was I able to ask for napkins. More recently I came in to eat and there was so much food under the table I had to ask the waitress if I could get a broom because there was quite a bit of food underneath our table. I don’t think that I will be coming back anytime soon which is sad because of how much I love this place but every time I come in something has lost...
Read moreI have been coming here for over two years, and in the past few months the food has become bland and the dishes are made differently than they were. They use less seasoning and cheaper veggies. My girlfriend orders the same drunken noodles every Thursday, and the past two weeks we have gone it’s either has been bland, or they use cubbed cabbage and canned green beans (which she is allergic to). After being told this is how it’s always made, they would only replace my meal if I drove back to Woodstock, which I let them know it’s a half hour drive and I couldn’t do that, to which they offered a 15% off for their mistake. We are now on the search for a new Thai place in the mass and CT area. I would recommend trying the new thi place down the street, they do not do take out at the moment, BUT the food is consistent and delicious, I will miss the spring...
Read moreI wish I was kidding but I can honestly say that I stop here to get food before I visit my own family! I lived in Putnam for a few formative years of my life and a good majority of my family still live in the surrounding area, but when I come to visit, I finish my Pad Thai before I even let family members know that I’ve made it to Putnam safely. Without being hyperbolic, I can say that I’ve tried at least 40 different Thai restaurants across the East and West Coast and nobody has even come close to matching the perfect zip of sweet and sour that their Pad Thai provides. And do not be afraid to mix any peanut sauce you may have left over from your chicken satay, I promise you will not be disappointed! If I ever win the lottery, I’m opening a Thai Place franchise in North Carolina before I’m buying my...
