My husband and I went in today looking for king size pillows like the queen size pillows we had previously purchased from Mattress Depot a few years ago. We found the pillows but they were the same ones we had and we told the salesman that we wanted king size pillows. The salesman worked extremely hard to convince us that even though the package the pillows were in said queen, they were actually a true king size and that the company who makes the pillows (Malouf) shouldnât label the pillows as such. He promised that the pillows were true king sized and that they are actually longer in size as opposed to the other exact same pillows we had bought previously. We trusted him as he seemed to know what he was talking about so we bought them. When I arrived home, I compared them to our current pillows and they were exactly the same, a QUEEN. I planned on returning them and looked at the receipt to see the refund policy and there is no refund. Now I am out $275.00 because of this manâs dishonesty. We have purchased many mattresses, pillows and bedding from Mattress Depot over the past 7 years and have always been satisfied with the level of service we receive. I am very disappointed that we were lied to just so this salesman can grab his commission. We will never purchase from this store or any Mattress Depot again.
To the owners response - At no time did you offer to order king size pillows but worked on us to convince us that the pillows that we bought a few years ago were smaller than the âkingâ size of the pillows you sold us today. You said that the pillows we bought are an inch and a half longer and a true âkingâ size and anything bigger would hang over our king size mattress and interfere with the other person sleeping next to you. Nevertheless, you were untruthful and deceptive in making us believe what we bought was different than what we had purchased previously. You should be ashamed of yourself for deceiving return customers the way you did. Fast taking and circling around our needs to get a sale is unethical and unprofessional. My advice to you,...
Read moreWe went looking for a mattress to replace a current high quality brand name that is just too uncomfortable for us. We walked into the Puyallup store on Saturday, 3/14/2020, and were greeted by Lenny. After introducing ourselves, Lenny asked us a lot of questions about why we were shopping for a new mattress, how we sleep, preferences, size of mattress, etc. He ended up first recommending a Tempurpedic Pro Adapt mattress and had us try a couple of them out. He showed us a few other beds and took quite a bit of time educating us on the different ways mattresses are constructed, about different quality levels, and different styles of mattresses.
After about an hour, we decided to leave the store and I went home and immediately started to verify everything Lenny had told us, looked at Consumer Reports, and read hundreds of customer reviews on different styles of beds. The surprising, and frankly refreshing, thing I found out was that EVERY SINGLE THING Lenny told me was true. No BS and no hard sell involved.
The next day, we went back and decided to purchase the Tempurpedic bed that Lenny first recommended to us, along with an adjustable base, mattress cover, a few pillows (which we both tried out), and set up financing and delivery. I must say that I have not felt as confident spending quite a bit of money on a single item as I did when we purchased this bed. Lenny was absolutely great and made sure we had everything we needed. He was also able to get us a few of our items at a discount and one for no extra cost.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Puyallup Mattress Depot USA store and would highly recommend asking for Lenny. If you are simply looking for a cheap mattress that will last a year or two or looking for a quality mattress/bed system that you intend to use for years and years, this is the place to go and Lenny is the person to see. Thanks for a great experience and we will do business with you again when and if we have bedding needs...

Can't sleep for more than 6 hours without waking up and back pain. I'm not blaming mattress Depot for selling me a bad mattress as much as not helping me to find one that would suit my needs. And their 30-day comfort guarantee is pretty low compared to any online stores. First mattress I bought lasted 20 years and seemed to be fine and now I am having a hard time finding one. To be fair I have tried two online ones before buying here and both of those were not great as well. But I was able to return them and not be stuck with them and a large bill, due to their return and extended comfort policies. If you know what brand you like and what style then this would be a great place to get that if they carry what you're looking for. If you're unsure or don't know what you're looking for I would not recommend coming here.
Parts 1 and 2 deleted as they are not relevant now
Part 3. Feeling hopefully. Confirmed we were sold the wrong mattress. Going in to exchange it and get the right one.
Part 4. So we brought our mattress back and immediately discovered we had been given the correct mattress but that it was defective. Roger was very sincere in apologizing even though he did nothing wrong as the mattress was rolled up so there was no way to know it was defective. Going to try out the new mattress and hopefully we'll...
