I arrived through the drive through at 5:15pm and had a fairly pleasant experience with the staff that took the order and the staff member who told me to pull up to the front of the restaurant. My receipt read 5:18 at point of sale and I then pulled out of the drive through. There was a person waiting on the spot 1, and the slot 2 so I listened to the instructions to pull to the front of McDonald's.
I saw 3 cars get their food before me, the two waiting in the 1 and 2 slot prior to me pulling out of the drive through and 1 that pulled into the waiting slots after me. The expediter asked me what I ordered approximately 5:34pm and had an order being delivered to the 4th person so two people after me. Two more cars were processed making that 6 orders behind before I left my vehicle and approached the expeditor to confirm my order a second time. She proceeded to inform me that it's been ready for a while and they will get that out to me immediately, as she delivered an order to another vehicle making that 7 cars processed before I got my food. At 5:43pm I finally received my order, with a wait time that can be on par with a sit in restaurant like Applebee's or red Robin. I don't expect my food quickly, but I also don't expect my food a half an hour after ordering especially after watching 7 other cars get their food
The food was cold. This location is usually pretty solid but I felt compelled to share my experience so that your team can work on putting a 3rd or 4th drive through order waiting spot to easily identify and expedite food when going through a dinner rush.
I feel very sorry for the girl who gave the food out as she was just trying to get through the rush and I'm actually really impressed with her willpower and the friendliness if your staff but a wait time past 10 minutes is unacceptable for any fast food restaurant. With a wait time of a half an hour I feel robbed of my time more than my wallet and am not angry but disappointed by your staffs inability to get through a dinner rush.
Moral of the story, this used to be my favorite McDonald's as all other locals ones have management issues and aren't good at their job. It no longer is a preferred stop and I don't plan on willingly using your services unless your team 1) learns how to get a max drive time of 10 minutes MAXIMUM 2) adds minimum of one more drive through waiting spot to accommodate your expeditor for having a slow back end staff 3) gives me an apology for the time you wasted with your poor...
Read moreMy wife and I have been going to this location since before it's renovation, back since about 2013. Heck, even before we were married and just friends. However, since COVID hit I've noticed a really sour, tense atmosphere there. I know things are tough for everyone, but we've had constant bad experiences here. We've given it chances again and again being our favorite McDs location, but tonight was the most tense I've ever seen someone while ordering some fries and a cheap burger. Three times now we've had nasty, rude experiences with Amara, the manager (Pink hair, buzzed side) even though we've been really polite to them sensing that tension.
Tonight my wife and I came in for some fries (We love McDs fries) and two cheap burgers, our usual order (We're on a budget like many others during everything going on). The moment we walked in, Amara was just -staring- me down to the point it made my wife uncomfortable. She then kinda had this snappy attitude when we patiently waited at the reg that we would have to wait a bit. Alright, cool, no worries, we'll wait (I used to be a manager, and I've worked several fast food chains before, I understand it can be stressful). When she comes up to the reg about 5 minutes later, she very -obviously- had rolled her eyes at us while she asked us what we wanted, like with this nasty sour attitude, while -staring- me down again. Every time I'd politely ask for a new item, she would roll her eyes -every- time and then give me this attitude while asking "That it?". It made things so awkward my wife forgot what she even wanted to order once I was done giving mine. Like this chick was out for blood or something, I don't know. When we finally got our order, she tossed it onto the counter and quickly ran off, didn't say much of anything. Not to mention, my burger was visually smashed up, and tasted foul... so I didn't eat the burger I had paid for. Cool.
The last time we saw her, I had sat on one of the bar stools near the front while we waited about 15 minutes for our food. She snapped at me with some serious attitude ordering me to stand up and get off the chair. I won't forget that, yeesh. Since then, she must remember me or something because she obviously -hates- us for whatever reason. We probably won't be going back anytime soon, that was awkward as hell. Please correct that kind of behavior McDs... I know some people have bad days, and the job can be frustrating/stressful, but it's no excuse for that -very- blatantly rude behavior...
Read moreIn drive through at 7am after waiting someone finally came on and I was told that "unfortunately, we will not be serving anyone". I asked about the two cars in front of me and was told those cars would not be served and would be moving. So I moved up and waited longer. No one moved and there were cones blocking the 2nd drive through lane so nobody was coming through that lane. The person behind me was still waiting for someone to come on the speaker and I had room to back up, so I started backing up to go out through the 2nd drive through serving lane that had cones blocking anyone from entering it since I wasn't getting out going forward since two cars were stopped there. I rolled down the window to start telling the customer behind me that I was told nobody was getting served when the drive through attendant came on and started taking his order. So I pulled forward again since whatever was going on must have gotten resolved. No biggie, technical difficulty or whatever. I wasn't upset at that point. The cars in front of me start moving. I get to the window and can finally order. I order, my payment is taken. Then I was scolded that "if I ever try to back up and loop around I will be refused service". Wait a minute, what the... I was just told nobody would be served and the cars in front of me would be moving. Nobody moved, the lane i was trying to back up and exit through had cones so nobody would be coming through, it was safe, and I was just trying to exit a drive through lane that I was blocked in and being told I WAS NOT GETTING SERVICE at. Now I'm mad. She went on to say the person in the front was refusing to leave and that is what was taking so long. OK, so why tell me I would not get service and why tell me that the cars in front of me would be leaving so I could leave without being served. Then why scold me for trying to exit a drive through where I was blocked in and being told I was not getting service. It will be a long time before I ever stop at this McDonald's again. They don't need to refuse me service ...I will not give them my customer loyalty and I will let everyone I know how horrible I...
