Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Puyallup

We have come to this location many times and each time, have had an issue with their food. First off, I want to say we are Papa Murphy's regulars and have not had this experience at any other location. As our most recent experience: last night, when we cooked our pizza, it was literally stuck, like glue, to the tray. I noticed someone else in the reviews said this as well, so we aren't the only ones with this issue. The bottom of the pizza looked like swiss cheese after it was cooked. It did not taste right, like an ingredient was forgotten or something. A couple weeks before that, we purchased cookie dough. Again, it was like it was missing an ingredient. Didn't taste right, looked odd, and the texture was off compared to other cookie doughs we've cooked from other Papa Murphys locations. We will no longer come to this location based on our experiences with the food alone. We have never had a good experience and my kids boycott their food when I bring it home from here. We will go to a different location from now on, even if this one is the closest. Also, as a side note on their customer service, I stood at the online pick up counter for a solid 8 minutes. There were around 6 employees behind the counter, some making pizza, others waiting at the register. No one acknowledged me. No one said anything. I understand most places are facing staff shortages but this was not the case here. It simply was a lack of service. Finally, I asked if I could just pick up my online order. Someone finally came over and handed me my order. I'm not really sure what's going on with this location, but bad food and poor customer service will make me avoid this particular Papa Murphy's...

I called ahead and placed my order on the phone for pick-up (not sure why I specified pick-up because that's all they offer) and it was a pretty large order, around $40. They told me that my order would be ready in about 20 minutes so I stopped off at the pharmacy on the way and when I arrived it had been about 45 minutes and I told them that I was there for my order and let them know that I was ready to pay and they mentioned that my order was almost done and it would be just a few more minutes. I told them that was fine and they directed me to grab the bottle of soda for my order so I did and when I walked back to the counter my order was completely ready. after I got home and cooked the food, it was amazing as usual, however I encountered one issue. When I cooked my cinnamon sugar bread stick thing, one portion of the outside crust apparently wasn't built up high enough and when it cooked it sent cinnamon and sugar butter to the bottom of my oven. It was obviously an accident and I know mistakes happen, especially on Friday and Saturday night in restaurants because they are so busy and just so everyone knows I wasn't complaining about it, I just wanted future customers who might read this to be aware that is something to look for because had I known and noticed I could have easily fixed it my self and avoided the whole experience. The bottom line is Papa Murphy's uses fresh ingredients, prepared your food fresh, has healthy choices and has amazing tasting food. Five Stars, two thumbs up or what ever means epic restaurant...

I usually get great food, but today we decided we would use Papa Murphys online services to have pizza delivered. We placed our address , ordered our pizzas, and received NO pizzas, so I contacted the River Road Papa Murphys and let them know the order says complete, but we never received any pizza, nor once it says complete does it show the ladies name who’s delivering it. I was told by Sierra that well I remember the door dash lady picking it up, but it’s kind of your fault for choosing it to be delivered instead of picking it up. HELLO it’s an option on your site, through your online app. I did find out a door dash lady chose to pick it up, but please be careful because I’m out 46.72 . And remember the couple of companies they go through are 3rd party vendors and they have no contact numbers for you if delivery is not made correctly and they assume no responsibility if you choose the option for it to be delivered through there site, I should have went directly to the door dash site I guess! Just please be aware so you too are not out money for a delivery made through their personal site. If we didn’t love their pizzas and had a vehicle home at the time I’d never have ordered it for delivery, but Sierra needs to be mindful how she talks...
