Heather, âthe one who answers the phoneâ in the pharmacy, could use some additional training with her customer service skills. I called the pharmacy about an hour and a half prior to arriving to make sure my order was in the process of being filled. The woman I spoke to on the phone advised me that my insurance wasnât going to cover the script, I let her know I was fine with that and would be paying out of pocket and that I would be there to pick my medication up in about 20 minutes. She stated that it may be a âfew minuteâ wait when I got there. That was totally fine with me. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Heather, who informed me my prescription wasnât set to be ready until tomorrow. I said that I had called a hour prior to make sure this wouldnât happen and her response to me was quite literally the problem I have with this visit. She asked me âWell who did you speak to, because I answer the phone here and I did not talk to you.â I said that I didnât know who I spoke to, yet I DID speak to someone, who went through my order with me and told me it would be ready in about 15 minutes. She then copped an attitude and said âwell we donât even have that kind of turnaround time soâŠ.â. I was furious at this point, so asked if she would like to see my call record on my phone, and asked how long until my order would be ready. She told me that I could âcontinue yellingâ, but it wouldnât get my order done faster. (By the way, though I was irritated with her comments, I was not yelling.) I asked her a second time when my order would be readyâŠ. 20 minutes later was helped by another pharmacy staff member and was on my way. I will never be back to this pharmacy. Iâd rather drive the extra distance to Safeway than to be told Iâm lying about a simple phone call. I would have accepted any other response to this frustrating situation and moved on about my day, but the way Heather handled this was absolutely...
Read moreI never make reviews but if I could make it a zero star I would, I have never had a problem with this place before. I called and asked " I was wondering if my prescription was ready for pick up and if not could I get it filled ?" Like I normally ask when I don't get the texts. He then asked my birthdate and I told him then he asked me again when I said it pretty clear he started getting an attitude with me, like I was unsure about my own birthday! And when he asked me about my prescription I said yes I was nice the whole phonecall no need for him to cop an attitude with me. And then told me it'd be ready in 40-45 minutes I said okay thank you. And he said have at it and hung up on me. Will not be coming back here and will be switching pharmacies. And when I went to pick my pills up almost an hour later from calling ahead of time, I'm told it's gonna be another 30-45 minute wait because the pharmacist "forgot" to change something before going to lunch. This is ridiculous. Never again will I come back this pharmacy or...
Read moreI sent my husband here on a Saturday to fill discharge prescriptions for me. It took 90minutes for them to get my prescriptions ready and my husband had to get in line twice because one of the technician couldnât even find the filled prescriptions.
My insurance rejected claims and the pharmacy needed to call the insurance for an override. They had my husband pay out of pocket telling him to call the insurance. When I had called my insurance, I was told that the pharmacy needed to contact them via PHARMACY ONLY 1-800 number to get an override. I called following Monday to get someone to call my insurance and their initial response was for me to call the insurance and have the insurance call them to give the override. Eventually they did call the insurance for me and had a refund ready for me in 3 days. I know the pharmacy is short-staffed and extremely busy because of COVID/increased vaccinations etc. So I am thankful for their service despite...
