january 16th I sold an item on ebay for just the reserve price ( lost money there) was charged a huge fee from Ebay and paypal( totally unrelated to this review but part of the story) delivered my item to this location and paid $120 to have it boxed up and shipped ( good thing i actually oppted for the insurance) the item arrived to the buyer destroyed a claim against me was opened i started the ups insurance claim right away, they picked what was left of the item up from the buyer on the 26th a week if not more it arrived back to this store, a few days later supposedly a representative inspected the item and approved the claim at that time the wait began for the check.
a few weeks later the store called and said the main UPS corporate wanted a second inspection so off it goes to get looked at again.
another few weeks go buy waiting on a check then the store dropps a bomb on me again after the second approval to process the claim .. now they want me to get a repair estimate !
i take more time off work to grab my destroyed item , take it to a repair shop , pay $50 for a estimate and what do you know ? the estimate came in higher then the insured amount.
this has been going on for more than 3 months, i never get a straight answer from the store, main office wont give me any information because its between UPS and the store branch .
im sure the store has caller ID because they never answer when i call and if i do talk to someone its the young lady behind the counter that is extremely rude and treats me like im bothering her when i ask for an update.
at this point i'm out the sellers fees, paypal fees, shipping costs,estimate costs, penalty fees foe the ebay reimbursement and time taken off work to deal with this .
so if you want to be treated badly, have your stuff packed sub par and never get resolution ? feel free to use this location.
the next step is to present them with a notice letter from an attorney for small claims court for twice what the insurance amount is .

Read moreAfter reading so many complaints about this place, I've realized that majority of the complaints are about one particular employee - the older Asian man. My family and I have been using this store for a little over a year now and we've never had any issue. The other employees there have been the nicest, most polite people in customer service - that's why we continued to come back. NOT TODAY! That rude, condescending, and arrogant man is to blame.
Why? I have no idea! See, that's the thing. My kids and I walked in today and waited quietly while he was helping another lady in front of us. Once he was done, he finished up her transaction and then proceeded to help us. But, something was off. I could tell that he didn't want to be there. Or maybe he saw that we brought in an Amazon return and he didn't like that? I don't know, I just knew something was off.
He was condescending from the start. He saw the package - I mean we were holding that dang thing, and asked "What is the item"? When I was about to reply he interrupted me and then asked "NO! Where is it"? At this point, I knew this man hated being here. He didn't want to clock in today and probably had made some life choices he regretted and now we're here taking a beating for it.
I told him he was rude and he have the audacity to cut me off again and say "NO, I'm not rude"! I told him this was a misunderstanding, but you came off rude and disrespectful.
Listen. to. this... He stood there with no humility and gave no thank you or I'm sorry...NOTHING!
So I walked out and told the 3 other women behind me "Good luck ladies, he's a jerk!"
Sir, if you're reading this...GO ON A VACATION - YOU REALLY NEED IT! Somebody please approve this mans vacation request! He's crying for help here...

In almost 7 years of doing this job, shipping back inventory & receipts with countless UPS stores across 47 states, at least 36x/year, I have NEVER encountered anyone as RUDE & CONDESCENDING as the manager/owner here: CALEB. Unless you like being treated like they don't want your business, even when your company has a huge account with them and you are shipping an average of 6 items every time (sometimes less, usually more, and 9, in this case)... unless you like being treated with impatience & disdain FROM THE MOMENT YOU WALK IN...DO NOT, DO NOT COME HERE!
I usually use one further south, down on Meridian, in South Hill, and they have always been wonderful. Because I was up this way I thought I would try this 1. Big. Big mistake! I would go several miles out of my way just to avoid the store!
I am still shaking, I'm so angry. No one like him should be in ANY business that has contact with the customers.
Even the driver picking up just stood by! (He later helped me when I was having difficulty with the tables, but then... stood by again when I'd finally had enough of Caleb being insanely rude to me! I do however, appreciate even the little assistance with the tables he begrudgingly offered.)
#UPS needs to serve their relationship with this store.
I'm sure they have some regular customers, but Lordy! If they don't know...
