Worst experience at this place. My husband took me on Saturday evening (6pm) for a early Mother’s Day dinner just the two of us and I had been wanting steak, but never get the chance to go on Saturdays to our local Tacoma location due to always having the kiddos, but my mother was nice enough to watch them for us to have a nice quiet meal. We were closer to Puyallup location so we decided to go there, but worst idea. The waitress laughed at my husband for wanting to start with a Shirley temple before getting a pitcher, so felt forced to make it “dirty Shirley” as she chuckled he should get since we are at the bar. Anywho, we then ordered our steaks, he had asked for a medium rare and it came out beyond burnt, and mine was just as burnt. She never came to check on us so we weren’t able to tell her that they were clearly over cooked. We sat for a lllong while while she finally came and noticed we hardly touched our steak, she then went ahead and said, “oh yeah, how was your meal, are y’all need a box..?” And we said yes, we were done, and NO box. I didn’t want to make a scene bc I really just wanted to get out of there. Such a difference a location can be to another even if it’s the same restaurant.

We met friends from out of town for dinner, prices are reasonable. The fish and chips were over cooked, my friend had to go to the restroom immediately after eating. The food went right through me as well. They need to change the oil in the fryer more often. It’s a ok place with several TVs to watch sports. They have some video games, I feel 75cents per game is a bit pricey when the restaurant in Sumner had video games for 25 cents a play. They also ran out of onion rings so they substituted fry’s that my friend didn’t want, they didn’t ask.

Let me start off by saying Jacob is outstanding bartender. I was so impressed with the customer service and conversation. I'm a OTR truck driver so I always order food togo for the next day. Jacob was the first bartender EVER to make sure I got all the food in the bag togo. The food was delicious and definitely filling. Thank you so much for everything.

I've lived in Puyallup for 7 years and have always heard great things about The Loose Wheel but never had a chance to go. I made time tonight when I was given the task of choosing the spot for our Friday night plans The family and I had a great time. Great service, great food, awesome atmosphere with so many TVs all showing every sport imaginable. Jalepeño poppers brought back some memories from about 20 yrs ago. Perfect.

Update: Feb 2022 Still a great place to get great food, great service and to watch all your sports. Including Olympic Curling and Hockey which is what I was there for this time. Has become the go to sports bar for me.

Update: Sep 2022 Just want to share about our experience with The Loose Wheel in Puyallup tonight. It was our go to trivia spot for almost a year, and we regularly spent $300ish a week there between four couples. Tonight there was an issue about tables that we tried to work out with the manager, but she ended up changing our waitress (which is fine) and then cutting off one of our group who had only had two drinks, but was the main person discussing the issue with the manager. They didn't even tell us until he tried to order another one. We have gone here for trivia nearly every week, so much so that we had over $500 in gift cards from winning the weekly prize so often. We gave away our remaining gift cards (after paying our bill) to other trivia teams there tonight because we will not be returning, and I hope you don't either.

I left up my original reviews up because that was the way I felt at the times. Hope these help you make an...

BEST wings in Washington state by far. I’m not originally from Washington and I moved here at a pretty young age from New York. Even though I was young I was able to take in a lot of culture growing up in New York. And by culture of course I mean food. Even though I might be a little bias, New York has some of the best food in the country but more specifically the best wings. I’ve been here for about 10 years now and I’ve been trying over and over again at a million different places seeing if I can find any wings that would taste as remotely amazing as the ones I grew up with. Then one night by chance my parents ended up stopping in for some food and as a thank you for babysitting they ended up bringing me home a container of wings. They starting raving about how delicious they were and how they basically fell off the bone and let me tell you these wings lived up to the expectations. Absolutely DELICIOUS! One night they had actually shut down doing the wings a little early and my parents tried to pick me up some but weren’t able to snag any. Because of that management actually introduced themselves and were amazing! They deeply apologized and offered some of there pizza which also is another go to item. The whole establishment and all of its employees are amazing! If you’re looking for spirits, wings and pizza this...
