McDonald's — Restaurant in Quakertown

I get the restaurant can’t be open during the COVID pandemic. That said they should still care about what they are serving and the customers that are going through drive-thru. On 3 different occasions recently I have had issues each time. The first after WAITING in the drive thru line for several minutes, finally was able to place my breakfast order at 10:31 only to be told they don’t serve breakfast after 10:30... really??? Did all the eggs magically disappear at 10:30? Then the next issue was ordered breakfast thru the Mobil app and received it in a timely fashion only to find BOTH of my orange juices tasted like water. I called and the manager stated I could come back for a refund... that DEFEATES the purpose of DRIVE-thru... the last and FINAL TIME I went (and ever will again) was I placed my order on the Mobil app, waited in the Drive Thru line and then once to the window to pick up my order was told to pull forward and wait, my order would be “right out”. I waited and watched and noticed 6 more cars went thru drive thru and left with their foot, the two other cars “waiting” for their food had received their food and left and a two cars that were told to “wait” after me also had received their food and left...mine took 15 minutes and a phone call before I got mine and it was two quarter pounders with cheese, Fries and a Fish filet... nothing out of the ordinary or alit of food... the manager said he was “unsure” why my order was not filled before all the other after me but he would “look into it”... I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you enjoy dealing with teenage servers who don't care about their job. I understand that it's only McDonald's but still have some pride not just in yourself but also your job. Not all employees here are terrible but they are few and far between. I've watched this store go from OK to absolutely terrible. And the "food" is just above dumpster diving. I don't expect it to look like the advertisements but please put the burger where it's supposed to go and the cheese on top of the burger not half way out of the sandwich. Maybe it's just McDonald's food but I don't think burgers are supposed to be slightly thicker than a piece of construction paper. And finally, DO NOT USE THE APP FOR CURBSIDE. It hasn't work for me the past 3 tines I've been to this store. Always have to go inside. There were no issues other than going inside but the last time I tried to use this feature I was asked to pay. Which i thought I did when i placed my order through the app. I wasn't asked this the first 2 times, why am I being asked now. I was told by the cashier that they don't do that anymore. I didn't ask to speak to a manager for fear the attitude I would get or lack of understanding of the situation. I almost forgot to say they do keep putting money into construction of the store but if you paint a rotten egg it's still a rotten egg. I took my grandchildren to McDonald’s the other day at this location in Quakertown. A lady was behind the counter yelling at a young girl who couldn’t have been older than 16. Non stop yelling for minutes that seemed like longer than I am sure it was. Customers like myself were looking at each wide eyed in disbelief. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but this yelling women looked high as can be on drugs. This poor girl just sat there and allowed this women to yell at her and didn’t say a word. I felt for this young girl, but also my grandchildren were quite upset witnessing this. After the yelling stopped and we got our food I went to the front of the store and asked who that lady was. I was told her name was Sylvia and was upper management. The few staff members seemed nervous to talk to me and clearly scared of this women Sylvia. I don’t know who in management felt this women who was out of control would be a good choice to manage this store or be put in charge of minors. They could have a lawsuit. This was the most unprofessional behavior I have ever witnessed. These poor kids that work there must think this is. Normal workplace environment. If I ever decide to visit this McDonald’s again with my family I will call first and make sure that this woman Sylvia is not there and won’t be coming in.
